This is what i think:

In Series 1, episode 1 Nick and Captain Tom Ryan went through an anomoly to the Permian era. But before that (about a few hours earlier) Claudia Brown joined the team. In the Permian era, they found a suitcase with papers and a Yorkie bar in it, a camera with pictures of Helen Cutter on it and a human skeleton. In Series 1, episode 6 the team were under attack by the Future Predators, so the team were forced to kill the adults and return the babies back to their own era, but to do that they needed to pass through the Permian first. Nick, Helen and Captain Tom Ryan went through the anomoly to the Permian with the babies, and here they set up their camp. Helen wanted her picture taken as a souvinere, so Nick took it. But he then realised that this was the same camera and the exact same picture he saw in episode 1. He then looked at the suitcase and saw it had the exact same contents inside too: Some papers and a Yorkie bar. Nick described it as 'Creating their own past' although they'd actually gone to a time in the Permian earlier on than when Nick went the first time, in episode 1. When they returned to the present, noone knew of Claudia Brown except Nick and Helen, who where the only ones that went through the anomoly and came back alive. This is because when they 'Created their own past', not only did they create what happened in the anomoly at that time, but also what happened outside the anomoly at that time: Claudia Brown joining the team. They created everything differently too because they haden't realised that two baby Future Predators had survived after the rest of them were eaten by the Gorgonopsid. This would mean that two creatures were in a time long before they were suppose to be therefore changing the balance of nature. Alot of the creatures in the Permian era would become prey to the Future Predators so many would have died. This would have changed the evolvation of earth and it also would have affected Claudia's family tree in the process. Because of this, Claudia grew up different, made different decisions and came by the name Jenny Lewis.

That is how i think Claudia disappeared and how Jenny, a mysterious doppelganger of Claudia, evolved. What do you think of this? Any other ideas? Please explain as clearly as possible.
