I don't know what "Sarah's wishes" are but I reckon it would be to do with her kids sticking with the family.

 I don't think Evan would become a vet. I think it would be sweet if he did but I don't think he will. I recon he'll discover something at school that he really would love to do and follow that path instead of joining the "family business" as it were. lol

I think Evan will be torn between staying to look after and work with his family, and venturing out into the world to follow his dreams.
