Its his flair and temprament which got him into the business and it is this that captivates the viewers. Of course the TV ratings plays a big part in how he conducts himself, if he was sympathetic and boring all the time no one would watch the show.

As for the person this is just the way he is, sometimes allowing personal emotion to drive his tone.

Basically if you dont like it dont watch it, but obviously it has captivated you in someway or you wouldnt be on here posting.
