Couldn't agree more with these posts. The amount of smoking is far more than it needs to be, to be realistic. After all this programme goes out way before the watershed time, should the programme makers not be promoting a more responsible attitude to impressionable children who may be watching? I have been watching Corrie for as long as I can remember and yes smoking is a fact of life and maybe this is only reflecting reality, but do we really need it shoved down our throats in virtually every scene involving Becky? Corrie writers you are doing a fantastic job, but please cut-out this needless and disgusting part of the story-line or at least reduce the frequency!
