I think that Simon only has himself to blame for the shock result tonight of Olly being in the bottom two.

I don't think that it is merely a coincidence that his acts have been in the final sing-offs two weeks in a row. It is more likely that the public, cheesed off by Simon not sending the twins home when he had the chance to, have been voting tactically, showing their disgust with Simon's antics by refraining from voting for his acts, hoping that once his acts were in the bottom two with the twins he would then be forced to see sense and send the twins home. They just didn't think that Jamie would be with Lloyd last week, they assumed it would be the twins, and that therefore the twins would go home and Jamie would survive.

It is the wrong way to do things of course, though I was tempted to do the same at one point, I have instead remained true to Joe and Stacey.

Looks like Simon's acts were merely pawns, and Simon is the one to blame.

These Judges that suffer with delusions of grandeur are shocking, unprofessional and expose too much fear is developing into a nasty twist on this show, and it is really uncomfortable to watch, not to mention they are really spoiling the show.

It must be hard to talk to a fully educated man, with a professional career with sheeramounts of talent, when they are clearly not, it must hard for them to swallow their bitter pills!

Cheryl Cole,considering her fame,wealth and stunning looks has got to be the most genuine and down to earth celeb around.Rightly she sticks up for the area she was brought up in and very proud of that fact,the north east are very loyal and she should be admired for that.You can see that in Joe and i hope their partnership triumphs.Im from N.Ireland but really do hope they can pull it off.

XFactor Audience Noise

Am I imagining it, or is the background noise from the audience on the XFactor louder than normal? It's not only annoying, but it's stopping us hearing the judges sum up. I love the XFactor, but if something isn't done about it, here's one viewer that will be switching channels!

Have had a brainwave - and am still recovering

Instead of the X factor judges being totally biased because they are the mentors of certain acts why not have the acts mentored back stage by voice coaches and choreographers, leaving the judges with no 'category' or 'acts' to colour their decisions when listening to the performances.

This would then lead to judges making the right decisions when it comes to real talent, and there would be no need for 'deadlock'.

xfactor final two - suggestion

been alot of controversy this year about how the judges have handled their decisions over who gets kicked from the final two. the mentoring issue which leads to judges just blindly picking their own acts regardless of performance. the potential for "tactical" voting to get rid of other strong acts who might be a threat to their own acts. the general lack of any "bottle" by allowing things to go to deadlock as often as it has to avoid being seen as the bad guy. i had a thought earlier to resolve this for next year. how about instead of letting the judges make a decision on the final two we let the live audience do so. the technology exists to provide electronic voting pads, it works on other shows, and after the final two sing-off the audience then vote for their favourite of the two. it would be an instant decision and would be fairer than the judges themselves have ever been this year.

Why have they changed the format so that we don't get to vote for who we want. I don't agree at all with the new format. I would rather have had the chance to vote for who I wanted to, but with the changed format I can't. I don't agree with them splitting the camp, thereby selecting who we can or can't vote for.

it's about time they scrapped the X factor, it now has nothing to do with talent whatsoever, it's about making as much money from telephone calls as possible. If it had anything to do with talent, both John and Edward, plus Lloyd would never have got through in the first place. They're cute little kids that all the little girls are going to vote for and make lots more money for the ITV.

How the judges can sit there and say these people can sing is absolutely unbelievable. I am sitting here at home cringing at how bad some of them are singing most of the time . The only two people who are any good as Stacy, and the guy who sang the Elton John song, can't remember his name. The rest of them couldn't hold a tune if their life depended on it.

Anyway, I'm so glad that John and Edward have gone, nice kids, but absolutely no talent at singing whatsoever. I was trying to think what they are reminded me of this evening when they were doing their sing off. Then I remembered, I saw a pig being slaughtered on television a while ago.

Whoever wins this year won't last very long, I will bet anything on that

Danyl is by far the most talented singer on the X-Factor and Cheryl and Louis have been trying to psych him out right from the beginning. Dannii isn't in on that little pact, thank goodness - she has more integrity than that. Cheryl saying he was singing flat was so obviously an attempt to hurt Danyl's confidence that it only makes her look dishonest and unprofessional. Louis saying he was trying too hard doesn't mean a thing. They should show some respect - he's not some wet-behind-the-ears kid, he's a teacher with an amazing talent and a huge future ahead of him. I can't wait to hear him sing some soul...

I think that someone somewhere in ITV is going to have to listen to the thousands of complaints they have recieved this year with regard to the present format of the show.

Firstly, there should be no 'deadlock', either the judges have the final say on the remaining two acts, or the 'sing-offs' are eliminated, with the act with the least public votes exiting the show.

Secondly, we do not need a full day of voting, this increases revenue for the show but also increases the possiblity of voting irregularities, the old format where the public only voted for a couple of hours between the end of the live performances and the results show worked much better in my opinion.

Thirdly, why is there so much noise from the audience? This was never the case in past years, and spoils the overall enjoyment of the show.

And finally, the judges need to be replaced with 'fresh faces' from the music industry, names like Chris Evans, Chris Moyles, and Pete Waterman - who did 'Pop Idol', spring to mind.

Any other ideas on how the show could be improved next year???

It was written in 1974 by Elton John and Bernie Taupin. George Michael sang a duet with Elton John in 1991. Thats 17 years after it was first preformed by Elton.

XFactor The Judges - My Opinion!

Simon - Okay, we all know the XFactor is a money-making machine for Simon, (who I admire by the way, so don't get me wrong), but is slagging off other mentors acts professional? No, but this guy knows his stuff, and 9 times out of 10 he's right! Every show needs a good cop and a bad cop, and Simon fulfills both roles quite nicely.

Louis - Clever behind the scenes, well connected, but a judge? No, I don't think so, (and I thought this before the national infection called Jedward was inflicted on us all). Louis is like the jovial old uncle you ask round for Christmas dinner, but his opinions on the show are worthless, childish and vindictive to my mind. It may work in the dressingroom Louis, but it doesn't work on national tv.

Dannii - Most of the time Dannii talks a lot of sense, albeit pretty predictable, and sits there in the shadow of the other 3 judges ivory towers quite politely and demurely. Always professional, but under rated, Dannii gets on with the job. To my mind, the other 3 judges could do themselves a favour by taking a leaf out of her book.

Cheryl - Sickly sweet with a wanabee Posh Spice complex, Cheryl outshines everyone on the show, including the contestants! Is this a good thing? In my opinion no! The XFactor is beginning to look like the Cheryl Cole Fashion & Make-up Show. Tone it down Cheryl, and remember why you're on the XFactor - as a judge, not a contestant.

Danyl... I think you deserve to win based almost entirely on your audition alone. That WAS one of the all time ultimate performances, never mind the fact that it was an audition. Think back to what Simon said, it was the best he has seen in his career.

It was obvious that you had something extraordinary about you then, and I think Simon would have offered you a record deal on the spot if he could. (I know I would have if I was a music exec.)

I hope you can think back to how you felt then and take inspiration from that, because I definitely think you deserve to win! I havnt voted at all up until this point, but I will start now because I think you deserve to win and that you can do it, if you remember what got you started in the first place. That special bit of magic that makes you who you are, and shone through so remarkably in your first audition.

Good luck... Go knock their socks off dude!!!!! woo hoo!

Danyl, you have oodles of talent, a wonderful voice and are a great performer. Don't allow the media witch-hunt to undermine your performance and confidence.
