Why is there no X Factor Official Forums?

I'm a proffesional online community manager and I'm amazed that ITV have not set up some official X Factor forums, clearly looking at these forums the amount of posts about the X Faxtor show it's needed.

I'd have the forums set up so there could some Q&A time to the judles and the contestants, I'd have a team of Moderators appointed from within the community and not connected to ITV of the show and I'd have a set of community rules and guideline to ensure the atmosphere is healthy and the status quo is maintained.

Please ITV let's have this set up ASAP.

Can anyone tell me what this is suppose to have proven?

Did it compare this group of women with other age groups or from other countries, or even a group of men NO!. So is the number of times these women had negative thoughts unusally high and does it matter?

Come on - I bet everyone has been disappointed with the way they look at sometime's no matter what their age is.

That blooming blond women who kept clicking away needed a bit more help then a facelift- well she certainly made me feel better about myself and I am the same age, just needed someone to tell her to get a grip on life and stop being so self centred.

Most of us just deal with it and accept it, the fact we do not think ourselves perfect, so what if I can not fit into a size 10 pair of jeans and wish I could, it does not make me love me less or less sucessful, bur evevery negative thought I have at leasdt ten positive ones.

Poor talent

The talent show is poor this year. Stacey and any of the other girls that have appeared - none of them can compare to Leona Lewis' voice and the girl who won it last year. They both had outstanding vocals.

Olly has a nice persona as does most of the male contestants but none of them have anything extra special that would make them stand out in a crowd. Joe doesnt have a personality at all and Lloyd cant sing in tune or hit the high notes. None of them would make me rush out and buy their songs. In fact most of the songs that have been chosen have been boring, and not lively and entertaining or even using well known songs that everyone can sing or dance along too. And thats the reason why Jedwood stayed in the competition so long.

does anyone else think lloyd has been pushed into the background? whether you like him or not, he is entitled to the same exposure as the rest. perhaps if cheryl gave him as much care and attention as joe,( who seems to be her favourite), and give him songs that suit his voice, he would be seen as a contender. perhaps she ought to study danni, who really does her best for all her contestants, past and present.

Thank God for Danni.

At last those twin have been given the boot.

Unfortunately it did not come quick enough to allow Lucie to continue in the competition, although I am sure that she has shown that she has the talent to be able to carve herself a career in music.

It would appear that some people were unable to understand that Danni was having a pop at Scowel when she asked if this was a singing contest. Remember that it was Simon that had the final vote, that could have got rid of Jedward earlier, but he chose to vote in their favour after speaking to one of the shows producers, probably to find out how the public vote had gone.

At last we found a member of the judging panel that was prepared to vote for a true vocalist, rather than a "fun" act.

If you want to see the kind of twaddle that Jedward performed, then watch a joke show like Britains Got Talent.

Although the likes of Stacey and Joe should now continue to the final,for me

Was this for real? Do we women really feel so bad about our looks? If so better get the scalpel out now.

I don't think so. I'm 49 and suffering menopausal symptoms, but I doubt I have more than 2 feelings a day that would count for the click...and they're probably in the gym looking at women 20 years younger.

I am not amazingly overweight, just a few pounds, but fit and strong. I look after myself, don't go out in the sun without factor 30+ and have regular facials (more for pleasure than function).

I think the women used in the show were self selecting as perceiving themselves to be old. I am not old, dress appropriate for my age, but do know I can be sexy. The women shown were aiming to be 20 years younger than they were....unsuccessfully.

Am I unusual, I think not, Why would any woman spend her life feeling inadequate, when all she has to do is lose a bit of weight (most were several stone overweight) and enjoy life to the full. And wrinkles...they're just a sign of experience.

If I am so unusual for a middle aged woman maybe I should know now?

The truth is that the public should never be allowed to vote. We are not trained judges in the art of singing, acting, dancing and for the contestants to have a fair crack of the whip it has to be impartial judging that takes precedence. It was always a foregone conclusion that the public would vote in the person they liked best and not the one with true talent. Thats what makes the programmes like X-factor, Britains Got Talent, Dancing on Ice and Strictly just farcicle nonsense.

What they could do is let the judges decide each week and then after the winner has been declared have a public vote to see which one would have got the most votes just to compare with the judges decision.

I cannot tolerate Joe or Stacy!

I am sorry, they may seem like a nice pair of choir children, but as for the X factor, no sorry!

Joe sings like he has been practising in the mirror for years, and excuse me for thinking that he is related to Cole, and this is why she has deep feelings for Joe and he comes in for no flack whatsoever.

Stacy, I mean goodness give me strength, no amount of make up or fine clothes or goofy laughing can distract the fact that she isnt talented whatsoever!

I'm sorry, but after hooking me as a fan to the X-Factor, you've just lost me! To have Danyl and Miss Frank down to the sing-off whilest those two, zero-talented, idiot twins went through to the next week just disgusts me. It has to be a fix from the programme makers to keep the viewers viewing because the British Public wouldn't be as stupid as to let those two talentless whalleys come back! They have no X-Factor. I had to turn X-Factor off. I couldn't bare to see either Danyl or Miss Frank perform again, one more time, for their lives, giving it there all, knowing that those to chimps were back stage thinking they had something! I couldn't bare to see Danyl or Miss Frank be disappointed and realise just what a ***waste of time and effort they have been put through over the past weeks to be seen off by the twins from hell. They wouldn't even be good enough for am-dram panto! Now for me the programme has no value. I don't want to see who wins, because it doesn't mean anything,....

I have not seen a heading for this show, so am using this one.

'Same Difference,' whose name is contradictory, are 'A Person's Carpenters.' they are wishy washy, to date.

Rhidian, is head and shoulders above the rest. I hope, that he wins.

The programme though, is an updated 'Stars In Their Eyes,' with Simon Cowell, taking Tony Hatch's part, and having, at times, a similar personality. At least SITE, varied the judges. The X Factor does not, and could do with having a coloured representative, man or woman, as happened previously.

The End of the X Factor?

Has the X Factor gone too far this time? After letting my young daughter stay up to watch the results show last night, only to have to comfort her until 11 pm following the shock result and injustice of Lucie Jones leaving, I have to ask - what is this show all about? Is it worth watching any more?

I know it used to be about singing, about watching the underdog, the humble, undiscovered talent grow and blossom into a star or in several cases, a successful diva. My family and I have, along with the vast majority of the UK population for the duration of the X Factor, been glued to the television Saturday nights and, more recently, Sunday nights as well. Plans have been changed, parties arranged around X Factor timetables, and advanced recording systems purchased in order to ensure that no episode is missed.

And then last night, somehow it all changed. The show doesn't make sense any more, and either do the votes. Talent is dismissed; an act that, in my opinion, doesn't even remotely compare, is saved. A publicity stunt? Reverse psychology to wake the public up to the fact that voting for the twins might actually mean that they'll win? I would say probably a bit of both, but I know one thing for certain; I actually really don't want to watch the show any more. I don't care who wins now, as the show is no longer fair. It's no longer about singing. It's no longer about talent. It's not about undiscovered artists following their dream and wowing the UK so that they rush to buy the first new album released by the winner. To be honest, it's become a bit of a joke. And most people aren't laughing; they're just annoyed. Is this the end of the X Factor as we know it?

Queen Night on X-Factor

I have to admit, that i am someone who up untill this week, has had Jedward top of my most wanted hitlist. I joined every I hate the twins group i could find online, and constantly moaned that, although they were entertainers, they were not singers and didnt deserve to be on X-factor.

However, not only did their performance blow me away this week, but it was by far the best performance of the night. It made me realise that, in fairness, they always put on a good show, and are always consistent, something that cannot be said for most of the other competitors. I would love to see Jedward, Stacey and David make it to the end, and give the public a bit of faith in the show again.

To John and Edward, I apollogise, and will be backing you from now on.

X-FACTOR - Voting Is All Wrong - Change IT Now

Did Simon lose his hearing on Sunday. Rachel was by far the best singer in the sing off and yet again we have a farcicle situation and one where genuine fans are being deprived of a true and proper contest of talent. There is obviously a large section of the voting public who are intent on ruining the show by either purposely voting for the worst singers or voting for who they like best. IT IS A SINGING COMPETITION. This problem could be solved very easily by allowing voters to vote for who they liked the least. In this event, the people who are voting for who they would like in would have their votes split between the better performers and the genuine voters would unanimously vote for the least talented. We have the same situation on strictly come dancing where the least talented are continuously being saved. It is a joke and ruins what is a great show. In the end people will say enough is enough and stop watching.

I'm the Judge, your the presenter!!

I was disgusted at Louie insulting comment to Dermot "I'm the Judge, your the presenter!!" how insulting, especially when it is Louie to blame for putting a non singing act into this singing contest.

The last few weeks Dermot has been rightly been able to offer some form of feedback and protection to the contestants and now we see Louie slapping him down on national TV, way out of order Louie.

I'm also concerned that Dermot has lost his sparkle, he seems to be simply doing his job matter of factly and if I'm right I suspect it is becuase he is as frustrated as the public about what the show is turning into. I would not be suprised if he decided this was to be his last show as presenter and that I feel would be a shame for he has been without question the best presenter the X Factor has had to date.

Having been a fan of this show, and previously seen vocalists with the talent of Leona and Alexandra win through, I have to say that the current series has been a complete shambles.

With thousands of people attending auditions, I fail to understand how the tallentless twins, John and Edward, were chosen by the judges to go through to the finals. The brothers obviously do not have the ability to sing in tune, and should not have been given the opportunity to progress through the earliest stages of the competition.

There were many others who deserved a chance to showcase their singing ability, who were robbed of the possibilty of a career in music by these two fools.

Apart from the fact that Jedward had surely jokingly attended an audition for a singing competition, when they should have been with the many other non hopers on Britains Got Tallent, I place the blame squarely on the shoulders of the Judges for allowing them television time.

Throughout, Simon Cowell has maintained that they could not sing a note, and yet when he had the opportunity to dump them from the show, he gave them his vote. How he could do this when young Lucie was light years better than Jedward will ever be remains a mystery to me.

I have to say that the programme, and Simon Cowell have now lost all credibility.

I will certainly be voting on next weeks programme with my tv remote. I will be choosing one of the many other channels to watch

I wonder how Cowell can sleep at night, having taken a career opportunity from Lucie, in favour of Jedward.

I hope that Jedward now win this fiasco, and Cowell has to offer them a recording contract.

Does he really think that the public will throw their money away buying a CD of theirs.

Wake up Simon and join the real world. People who really deserve a chance should be given it, and those without tallent should look elsewhere for a living.

Its about time Cowell took this programme seriously, as at the moment he is playing his games with peoples careers, and taking the mickey out of the viewers.

The X Factor is not what it started out to be

I always thought that the aim of the X Factor was to find singing talent in the British Isles.

But it appears that anything goes, this year in particular!

I have watched from the begining of this years show and as each week has come and gone I have been appalled that those hidious twins who I might add should never have even got as far boot camp let alone got through to actually appear in the finals.

Neither of them can dance let alone sing, and as for them being entertaining well thats a joke in itself! they arent even a comedy act. If Louie likes them so much then let him contract them in his owm company/time NOT the X Factors.

The Twins should not be on X Factor full stop, so far the ones that have been voted off have been far far better than the twins.

Which makes me wonder if in fact the voting is rigged.

I saw an online survey last week asking if the twins should be voted off the X Factor 89% said yes they should be voted off. So what does that tell you? There appears to be conflicting evidence here.

If a show allows the viewers to choose who is in the bottom two and then the judges decide - fine, but when the judges go back to the phone vote makes it a joke.

Make the rules that the phone vote is final!

All the judges did on Saturday was to prove that they are more interested in publicity and viewing figures than talent! Simon Cowel showed that all he is interested in is money!

I will never watch this programme again - it should be taken off air!

I do not mean this in a negative way, but has anyone else thought the coaches should give Stacey a few elocution lessons? She is a sweet person, but the common manner in her speech should be ironed out a touch, which I am sure would improve her confidence and perfomance. This is surely a case of ...the rain in Spain...?? I still think her voice is lovely though!

Lucy Jones is out of order

I just got home from work and watched X factor and was very angry at Lucy's imitation of Stacy Soloman as she was getting the judges comments. If she has a problem with Stacy then she should be a grown up and discuss it with Stacy and not act like a 6 year old in the playground.

Is it time to seperate the Judging from the Mentoring?

Having been a huge fan of the X Factor since it came on our screens and with last nights disgrace by Simon Cowell I'd like to raise the question is it time for the show to separate the judging panel from the mentors?

Clearly we have an element of the public intent to mess with the shows results be it for betting or just plain public messing about reasons something has to be done to protect the integrity of future show.

I rather like the idea of a judge panel, it offers interesting feedback and acts as a safety net to ensure the contest remains as singing contest and for it not to be hijacked by the public messing with contestants lives by voting for acts that clearly have no long term musical career.

Or at least that's how it should be but with Simon Cowell's failure to do what he has been saying for the last few weeks and vote the twins off tells me he saved them for other reasons than singing talent.

What ever those reasons are the voting system has to have more integrity and I put it to everyone that the way forward for the show is to seperate the judging panel from the mentoring.

Voting system for the X factor to blame!!!!

I personally believe that the present voting system for the X factor is to blame for the ridiculous results we see week after week, with real talent haemorraging from the show whilst the dreadful duo Jon and Edward stay to make a mockery of what the show is supposed to be about.

Have never known it to be so bad in all the years I have been watching it and am sure that the voting system is entirely to blame. In previous years the public were only allowed to vote in their favourite acts for a few hours on a Saturday night between the end of the contestants performances and the results show, but now there is a whole day between the contestants performances and the results show, which means that kids who have nothing better to do are multiple voting for the twins for a whole day, whilst we adults who have better things to do can only devote a short amount of time to our vote. To kids this is just a game, and they obviously cannot see the point in voting for real talent when they have a couple of hyperactive clowns to vote for.

The producers should tighten up the voting by only allowing people to vote for a couple of hours on a Sunday from 6.30 -8.30 pm, and multiple votes from the same number should be disqualified. Also, why not let the teenyboppers have their own X factor on children's TV, where the twins could clown around all they like and not seriously offend the ears of a more discerning audience.

I was appalled by the lady who was claiming disability. She goes to bingo 3 times spending £18 a time. Then she has the audacity to play on the slot machines in corals at a tenner a time. But, the commode situation had me cringing, that poor trinny having to do that and she was just smirking at her what a lazy woman she is. She needs to start doing things for herself. Too many trying to con the system, this might be one that gets investigated.
