Hey everyone,

Has anyone else had trouble watching ITV movies online?

I'm desperate to see Goodnight Mister Tom for my English lessons and the movieplayer doesn't seem able to show it?

Does it work for anyone else? Is there something I should be clicking?

If you're in to Shane Meadows or Larry Clark I recommend SUMMER SCARS which I saw at the ICA last month and which comes out on DVD at the end of September. It's a dark coming-of-age thriller about a gang of hoodies held hostage in the woods by a deranged soldier. It's a bit short and low budget, but its very tense, the acting is great and the last 20 minutes had me squirming in my seat.

check out"A PLACE CALLED HOME"colin farrel is in it,i watched it last nite and thought the story was beautifull,its like "BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN"only more beautifull.from yvonne in ireland.x

The Second Coming

I am writing from the U.S. In 2003 I saw a 2 part movie on ITV called "The Second Coming"while visiting the UK (London). I also saw it about a year later I believe on BBC America (not sure) while back home in California. It was a brilliant treatment on the concept of Jesus Christ coming back in modern day Manchester. I would love to get a copy on DVD if possible. Anyone know if its available. Also, does anyone else remember this nmovie?

The second installment of the Silent Hill series leads journalist Brett Cartland into Portland, Maine to work on a documentary about the abandoned mining town of Silent Hill. He finds himself trapped inside of a closing shopping mall with a mysterious young woman named Kara. The exits are blocked and a series of odd noises from an unknown section of the mall lead to an unimaginable terror. Kara and Brett go deep into Silent Hill during the second act of the film in the search of her true identity. He quickly learns that there is more to her past than she is letting on.

After first seeing the adverts to this film I thought It looked good. Now I think It looks rubbish!

This film has been made to be funny. Ok. But the iron man bit really made me think. Wow this is terrible.

(I am not a fan of iron man or mavel) I thought this because when the cow is dropped you can see how small the budget was of this film.

Anyone seen The Dark Knight yet?

Look is all this fillibuster about Heath Ledger justified? Is it really a stellar performance and absolutely fantastic etc...etc... as all the celbs seem to be gushing about it?

On friday (i think) Diamonds are forever was advertised on ITV1

In the advert, a song was on in the background and i know I've heard it before but i can't think what it is

Captian Robbie T. Williams

Robbie Williams is reportedly in discussions to make his film debut as Captain James T Kirk in Star Trek XI.

The Stoke-born popstar voiced the part of Dougal in The Magic Roundabout remake in 2005, but has since turned down a number of starring roles.

Now Robbie, 33, is talking to director JJ Abrams about taking on the role of Captain Kirk in the upcoming Star Trek film, reports the Daily Star. The character was originally made famous by William Shatner in the sci-fi television series, which first aired in 1966.

Abrams, who co-created hit series Lost, said: "I think he would be a good Captain Kirk. The Kirk in my movie is quite young - it's like the early years.

"But I can't comment on who we are casting just yet. You'll have to wait and see."

Leonard Nimoy will be playing Spock in the movie, while Heroes actor Zachary Quinto will play the role of the young Spock. The 30-year-old said: "It is pretty incredible to be part of something so iconic."

Abrams is also hoping to find a way to bring William Shatner into the film. "We are desperately trying to find a way to put him in this movie," he explained.
