It seems to me that most of your
gorgeous style suggestions depend on your subjects wearing
very glamorous footwear, often high heeled, and the wrong footwear can kill an outfit.

I have large feet, size 8 (EU 42). Most high street shoes retailers only stock up to a size 7.5
(EU 42). They often proudly produce a size 41 and pass it
off as a size 8 (42), but as you know, ill-fitting shoes
are not a good fashion move - the pain shows in your face!

High-end shoe manufacturers such as Manolo, Jimmy Choo and
Kurt Geiger simply do not manufacture anything
over a size 7.5 (EU 41), if that. I am would dearly love to
buy better quality and more glamorous shoes, but I simply cannot get
them on the high street. I am reduced
to buying my shoes from M & S and Clarks, where they
deal with "outsizes". Depressing!

There are lots of websites for outsize footwear, but they
are mainly aimed at men, and the really
cheap or "sensible" end of the market. I have found two super websites in the US

- Barefoot Tess based in Baltimore and Designer Shoes based in Boston.

The problem with these is that you have to pay import taxes
and then if the shoes don't fit you have problems and the expense of
returning them. Shoes simply need to be tried on before purchase.

Barefoot Tess is particularly interesting, because they
watch the trends and
follow the editorials. They
don't sell anything that is not designer/branded.

That's what is lacking in the UK outsize shoe market at the
moment.

I also know that I am not alone. I have read research to show that
37% of all women's shoe sales in 2000 were a size 7 and
above. Women's feet are getting bigger... I just wish shoe manufacturers and retailers would update
their data to reflect this.

Wide fit shoes for young fashion-concious women

I was just wondering - does anybody know anywhere affordable where I can find wider fitting shoes that are in nice colours and younger styles?
I'm normally a 32H and wear size 12's on my bottom half. Having had big boobs since I was 12 (E cups back then!) I'm used to not having much choice in the bra department. Thank god for Bravissimo!! They can just about cater for my size. Normally!

However I've just had a baby and my boobs have gone from big to huge!!

At 8 months pregnant I went to my nearest M&S (I couldn't be bothered with going into London to Bravissimo) and the lady there said I was a 38 J! I laughed at her and told her my normal size and then asked what size their own brand of bras went up to - predictably she told me they went up to a J cup!!!

I ended up at Bravissmo ( where I should of gone in the first place) and was measured as a 34L for a nursing bra - and they warned me that it would get tight once my milk came!! They had to specially order 2 nursing bras from the one and only label that actually go up to this size. I was grateful for the bra! but dissapointed again at the lack of choice seeing as how bravissimo cater for big boobs yet they only had one bra that went beyond a H cup. What do other women do when they're pregnant???? Please tell me!

I'm now breastfeeding and am back in my size 12 jeans but am still having to wear the hideous size 34L nursing bra as it's still the best fit by far!!!!!!!!

Morris dancing has had a bit of good press recently (for a change), concerning the lack of youngsters joining this ancient but vibrant tradition. However it's not all as it has been made out to be. The White Horse Morris Men (from Warminster, Wiltshire) have recently had five teenagers join, completely out of the blue. Some are local lads who were fed up hanging about in the cold, and some are just into a different thing. To celebrate this welcome intrusion the older members think that we should update our 'uniform' or kit. To be honest this needed doing anyway. Can Trinny and Suzanna help us? We wouldn't mind if this was turned into a Red Nose or Children in Need effort, but we are quite serious (!) about our intentions, but we certainly need inspiration from someone.

Reuben Chappell. squire, White Horse Morris Men

Oh, we don't mind Ladies joining in.
