I have been watching this programme which I really enjoy. However, on going onto the website to then get the recipes especially the puddings which I am fanatical about, I find that there are not many recipes listed. I go on each day to check if anymore have been added, but to my dismay there are not.Can you please update this site so that I can try some of these delicious puddings.

Britains Best Dish ? It's Curry. So why not have a show specialising in that?

Hello everyone, Curry is the United Kingdoms best dish, personally I think it rocks big time. So why not have a show specialising in curry?

ITV's Britains Best Curry or something, how many people can cook curry properly in the U.K ? not many, most still use jars, pastes, packets etc...

There a a couple of generations that need educating and quickly.

I think it needs an asian Gary Rhodes, and you know what ? I think ITV should recruit direct from India and create a star get a young 20's chef. Gary Rhodes when he went to India with another food channel ,was O.k But he wasnt happy with the spices was he? too nervous," HOW much spice is going in there?" , you could see it on his face bless him....

Yes Gary, "just look at that full of taste, full of flavour, what more could you want ?" I'll tell ya, the correct amount of spice as per recipe of the master who was instructing you..... mmm any how....

I watch with great delight the daily assortment of dishes preseted to the three judges on Britains Best Dish.

I am however slightly miffed by some of the origin of some of the dishes.

I was under the impression that the progarmme was called Britains Best Dish for a reason-the dishes should be regional & BRITISH.

In the first week the selection has included at least 2 continental dishes-a spanish dish, Paella & also a French dish, Tarte Tatin.

Where are the fantastic English dishes that are so loved by us all?

Rabbit stew, Casserole with light & fluffy dumplings, fish dishes that are so popular, traditional puddings such as Spotted ***, Apple Pie with all of its regional variations

Why call a progarmme Britains Best & then include foriegn dishes.

I am finding John Burton Race increasingly annoying to watch while he appears on Daily Cooks Challenge. His constant dreadful open mouthed sniffing, and those strange faces he pulls as if he is about to faint or cry any moment. Very off-putting and distracting from the point of the show. He is also at times very rude to the other chefs, whilst having very little personality, he's big headed, and as for his cooking - I couldn't say as his demeanour would put me off anything he made.

I have been told following your program on stores own brand drinks that cheap Whisky is made from the waste on the floors of distilleries , which is swept up and used to produce the cheap brands , this was stated by a person who used to be a rep for a drinks firm - is she right - I am a little concerned as I do buy supermarket own brand of whisky and gin , can anyone put my mind at rest . Thank you

I felt that Rosemary Shrager should not have been involved at all in this programme. The amateur Chefs seemed more than capable of producing their dishes without her being around, shouting at them all the time and I also heard some comments from them about her intrusion and taking over and I think that was the main reason that all the dishes came out late. Also I think it was totally unnecessary for a lady Food Critic to enter their kitchen to ask questions, which again holding up the dishes going out on time and making these Amateur Chefs more hastle, which they did not need.

Has anyone noticed and better still know why it appears that unlike most supermarkets Aldi Stores do not put best before / display until dates on their so named fresh produce.

Sadly I have found that after opening certain fruits I have found them unsatisfactory for consumption.

Having worked with a girl who's partner was on a similar show but involving football, I viewed this programme with scepticism. Yes, as she described to me, all the same stages were there, in particular the woman chosen to train up deciding to leave at the last minute and having to be talked round to stay.

It seemed to me that the whole scenario was a set up and cheap television - yet again.

we are told organic is better for us and better for the enviroment,i rent a yard on a organic farm and it just seems like its a big con,the farmer walks around telling everyone how he gets £40,000 a year in grants,the fields are full of weeds and yellow in the summer with ragwort a very deadly weed they store meat in very old freezers which is then delivered in old rusty vans,when the potatoes were grown they were weeded using a large calor gas burner which took 3 gas tankers to weed 1 small field this was done at least twice,then sprayed 3 times with large amounts of copper sulphate the puddles in the field were green. they have 3 very large bins a week of rubbish most of which is carboard this is not recycled.i can go on but i wont.

why oh why don't the competitors listen and watch. i have been glued to this show

watching the methods and interested in how and why winners go through. But some

competitors really should be in the show. others shine and loose out. but I say that

the judges should remember these competitors are not qualified chefs and they should

take that into account when judging their performance on difficult dishes.

hi, i wonder if anyone has the recipe for Phil Vickery's ham glaze from xmas 2007? I made it twice last year after printing the recipe from the website. It was absolutely gorgeous. Two of the ingredients were stout and honey. It went down a storm with all my guests at xmas. But guess what i can't find the recipe now after searching high and low. If anyone else made this and could email it to me i would be forever greatful. Fingers crossed. Merry xmas. Sarah

I’m guessing that lot’s of you eat sandwiches at your desk whilst surfing facebook, bbc etc. Am I right??

I’m exploring a business idea & would be ever so grateful if you can reply with your answers.

I admit I normally end up eating at my desk & tend to eat take away sandwiches which is more due to availability & lack of choice than any other reason.

Having watched the adverts and trailers for this new programme, I thought it was rather funny to listen to Marco, say that the idea for the show was to cook amazing dishes using only "British" ingriedients yet the very first ingieient he used for the dish he was preparing was in fact "Olive Oil". Now, correct me if im wrong but last time I heard Olive Oil is an "Italian" ingriedient!! unless someone knows of a new Olive producer that has done what has never been done before and has infact grown "British" Olives. Shouldn't he be using lard?

I think Rosemary's style of teaching is the best, very down to earth with just the right ammount of toughness laced with her great sense of humour, the only thing I don't understand is why the contestants are able to get away with not wearing hair-nets to protect the food, I realise they are only learning but it doesn't seem very hygienic to me.

I live in Australia and have only been watching the show for a couple of months. I can't get enough of it. I have always loved to cook and get inspired by watching her.
