Why is it when disaster hits other parts of the world we are asked to rally round and give contributions of cash to help the people in need howevever,when its in our own back yard nothing is done finacially to help these poor people lets change that now and give all the support we can.

Leaked E-mails on research regarding Global warming show that facts have been misinterpreted. It was seized on by politicians to scare the population into paying higher taxes and greater restrictions in travel. An increase in CO2 can be explained by the destruction of the rainforsts, the trees and plants are the lungs of this world. Climate on this planet has always varied, the Thames froze and they held 'frost fairs' on it, in Roman times there were many vinyards in England, we are only just seeing them return. Is it just coincidence that this spurious 'Global Warming' theory came to public notice during the period in office of two of the worlds greatest liars, Bush and Blair. Protects the trees and all the Earth will flourish.

it started out as a giggle,

and katie has been through things that would make anyone wriggle.

from climbing cliffs to driving a death trap,

it was pure suffering on a tap.

people are fickle, there's no other sum,

what ever her private life was about,you publicly shot her in the bum.

on the edge of turning it round, katie could have had closure,

but now i have a feeling, she will be remembered for indecent exposure.

her money is in the bag, to charity it will be shipped,

but when out,top viewing will have her tripped.

i don't think its the best outcome, katie will be forgotten,

Local Council v the Environment

The adverts say - drive 5 mins less and aid the environment.

The Council says - narrow the junctions and create great long queues of traffic with engines ticking over.

A drive that used to take 5-10 mins now takes 30 mins.

We used to have our rubbish collected from bin stores, but this was changed to us having to lug it to the edge of our properties - but fear not, they are giving us 3 wheelie bins for the rubbish, which will be collected from the edge of our properties on alternate weeks. What an eyesore this is creating in the Town as the houses were not built with this in mind. The suggestion from one Councilor is that people could dig up part of their garden to store the bins on - nice!!

Doesn't environment cover the look of our surroundings which is meant to encourage pride in the place we dwell?

Residents have resisted this new system, voicing worries over vermin being attracted to the waste, but they have been ignored.

Final insult - they are using our Council Tax money to give the people who have implemented these bins a PARTY!

University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit Hack or Whistleblower?

Unless you are an avid reader of blogs you will probably not have noticed this huge story. This is a subject that our state broadcaster and sadly by default its main commercial competition appear to be ignoring. For those who want to know the Climate Research Unit (CRU) at East Anglia is perhaps the major world center for research into the theory of Anthopogenic Global Warming (AGW) or as it is colloquially known Man Made Global Warming.

Sometime on the 12th of this month a very large file (63 megabites) of data was uploaded onto a Russian server containing as many as a thousand e-mails and much other information between members of staff at the CRU and assorted other organizations around the world. Communications between figures such as Professor Phil Jones, Professor Briffa and Michael Mann author of the famous or imfamous Hockey Stick graph were revealed. The contents of these e-mails although individualy banal collectively is dynamite as much of current public policy regarding "combating climate change" is a direct result of the work undertaken by this collaborative network.

There are all manner of issues regarding the use of hacked or unauthorised release of sensitive data. However few of us would disgree that whomever released the details of MP's expenses did the right thing. Quite rightly our elected representitives should be held to the highest standards and as such transparency is essential. The implications of the information "extracted" from the CRU dwarf in financial terms the relatively small sums of money fiddled by some MP's.

Our public policy towards control of Carbon dioxide emissions, power generation policy, transport policy, agricultural policy and much else has been dictated by the findings of the CRU and through it the International Panel on Climate Change.

These e-mails and other documents shine a light into the workings of this network of AGW proponents. They are most revealing, a series of links below for the reader to look through.

We were a Country of 'Free Speach', but of late a depressingpolital corectness seems to have decended on all areas of disgusion. We are, without writ of law, now forbiden to use certain English words that a mere 25 years ago were in common usage. The reason given it 'They may offend someone', since when did we become such spineless cissies that words hurt. I was brought up to the knowledge that 'Stick and stone may breack my bone but names will never hurt me', have these later generations gone soft, that at a 'BOO!' they will burst into tears ? Here, on this ;Forum', an undemocratic form of censorship prevails, messages are deleted without expanation. Would i t be too much to ask, that should ones contribution be rejected you are given the courtesy of a reason.

Would you agree with this Newspaper Headline in relation to our membership of the Europian Union? We have fought the Europians , Dutch, French, German, you name it and we have been victorious and remained free. This time the threat was from within, a filthy fifth column lead by a celtic quisling. Cameron promissed us a referendum on the EU if he was elected at the next General election, we should still have that referendum so the Eurpoe is in no error in the feeings we have for them over the other side of the chanel.

We have, foistered upon us, a Europian President, a nonentity nobody has heard of. Are we expected to show allegance to this person? The EC seems to be run in a 'back-room', the people have no say in any matter, not even the politicians that are voted into the sham of a Europian Parliment. It would appear that the EC is an Oligarchy (a form of government in which power is in the hands of a few people). In the UK we swear allegance to the Queen, is this upstart from Belgium to be considered above her? I think not. We must leave the EC now.

TESCO again try to ruin more small businesses

we live in a small village called Sandiacre where Tesco has bought up land and warehouses so they can build what can only be discribed as a monster store which i might add is ugly and will wipe out most of the small businesses in the village which have been struggling to survive the credit crunch, and they have only informed a small number of the people living in Sandiacre of the planned public exhibition which took place today and will take place tommorow 22/10/09 at the Sandiacre cricket club 2pm till 8pm. if anyone reads this in time i would strongly suggest you go and look at the plans, they have not thought of the extra polution this will bring to the village and the traffic load. they had the cheek to say they had surveyed Sandiacre residents and only 22% shop in the village, i am a Sandiacre resident and have never been asked that question nor has any of my friends or anyone i have spoken to, why do we have to put up with the large companies just taking over every piece of land and spolling villages or towns, We dont need a Tescos in our village.

Why havent the news focused on the fact that on June 27th of this year Jordy Chandler (Now a fully grown man who is now 29 years of age) has admited he lied about Michael Jackson, and it was all down to his father, put a restraining order against his father years ago and these facts are all linked to the death of his father as well?

The amount of FRONT paged media headlines this story was given at the time of the court case and allegations was mega big, however, these two considerable important facts have now been tucked away in the back pages of SOME newspapers.

25% of hospital beds occupied by the elderly

On the news this evening it was reported that 25% of beds were occupied by elderly patients with dementia.An elderly gentleman was interviewed and gave an awful account of the treatment his wife recieved whilst in hospital for a non related dementia condition.

Having worked in health care for some 30years,this does not suprise me.It was forcast back in the 90's when the powers that be,closed the geriatric hospitals.Nursing in such hospital was at the time,like mental health,seen as the "cinderella" field of health care.But care was intense albeit a hard and lengthy process.Newly qualifed nurses had no time for this as there was little opportunity the climb the promotion ladder.Sadly this remains unchanged today.It seems that even to sit and feed a patient is beneath them,likewise attending to toilet needs. Often this care is delegated to the hard pushed HCA whose patient ratio is high.Whilst I agree that an understanding of dementia is necessary,I fail to understand the lack of of basic nursing care.This is at the heart of all care delivered by nurses and without it, there is no nursing practice.Its not just about drugs,dressing and the latest proceedures.Patient centred care includes every aspect necessary to be holistic.

Since it is essential that nurses contstantly update their practice of nursing in the 3yr periodsof registration,I find it inconprehensible the such a large proportion of the their practice has not been addressed.It is their onus.The knowledge is out there,I've done it.I had too...it was relevant to my practice of care!

£135,280 Road Traffic Signs in Rugby - Planning gone Mad

Like many other Council Tax payers, I gaze in awe and with concern at the new Traffic Signs that have been placed, within sight of the Rugby School Preservation Area, on the Circulatory System. This area has been, with difficulty, kept traditionally in keeping with the bounds of the Preservation Area in line with the Warwick Street Development carried out in the 1980s. I am not aware of any public consultation regarding these new signs and I am disturbed that they could have been erected in such a way that they are detrimental to the area as a whole.

Planning within the circulatory system has been strictly enforced by the Council Officials, who have even issued threats of taking criminal action against residents if they dared to make any changes to the listed buildings situated in the area. The new traffic signs now stand in front of and detract from the character and appearance of these old buildings.

With the approach of the opening of the over valued relief road, were these signs really necessary or has the Council so much spare cash that they have to spend it on hair brained schemes such as this before the end of the financial year?

these company's are very clever,
don't underestimate them, not ever.
they will say its to make safer the community,
but they should be in the dock with no immunity.
it is a form of vigilantly and it it is corrupt,
i for-see crime hot spots appearing so private police can abrupt.
now the cost which is criminal,
i heard the figure of £4 a week which dose seem minimal.
the catch is simple because "police" is in your tax,
so what ever these private firms charge, there profit is max.
the old and frail will see these firms as kind,
no disrespect, but they have lost there mind.
if our police force are not doing or for filling there title,
then a new system is vital.
i am backing sir ian blair saying this will divide,
and of course i hate the fact the rich will get a better ride.
i have faith in the police and i would erg for perseverance,
the day we have "thug" company's patrolling our streets, will be a sad existence.

my god cinemas have changed,

more compact and real neat.

30 mins of adverts,

did stress me like in my foot a thorn,

then a sad excuse for a man sat down,

and at full volume started to munch pop corn.

the film started with a pensioner,

he's in his flat tidying up and then goes on a trip,

his poor wife is ill in hospital,

hold tight and get ready to tip.

the next visit is when i am sobbing,

the barrel of his wife next to his baby daughter,

harry is a brocken man,

time to go on a vigilantly slaughter.

playing chess with his pale in the pub,

i suppose that was the final straw,

your friend murdered by thugs you see every day,

now its the turmoil in harry browns head added to this one man war.

to a local dealer he goes,

a gun is his desire,

as long as money is exchanged,

they will deal you drugs or a gun to fire.

with no help from the police,

harry was on a mission,

any kind of justice for his friends death,

was his vision.

one by one,

the scum started to fade,

there was a copper that new all this,

but police corruption thankfully kept her in the shade.

as for harry and that walk way,

it was proof that vigilantly did open that avenue,

Motorists in the dock

I have just watched the Tonight programme about cyclists not to blame for any accidents on the road involving motorists.

How utterly ridiculous. I am a pedestrian, a cyclist & a motorist & I firmly believe that athough it is not strictly the law, that all road users should read & follow the rules in the Highway Code.

I cannot see why so many cyclists are having accidents with motor vehicles, because, I don't know what it's like elsewhere, but where I live, most of the cyclists ride on the FOOTPATH, & it is pedestrians who are put at risk by trying to avoid them, & of those who do actually use the road, a lot of them do not have the correct lights, or even none at all.

I think that there should be some kind of registration for cycles, & possibly even a nominal road tax, particularly for cycling clubs, whose members regularly take up more road than an articulated lorry, by riding four or five abreast & twenty or thirty cycles long.

If cycling is becoming more popular, then there should be more & better development of cycle lanes & dedicated tracks.

Bring back the Cycling Proficiency Test, not just for children, but anyone serious about cycling, & drivers of motor vehicles, please try to be more aware of the more vunerable road users.

Our armed forces deserve remembering every day of the year - my parents and grandparents contributed to give me and my children a better life. Wear your poppy with pride and please God get our troops out of a country that doesnt want us there, wont work with us while we are there and give us strength to keep our shores safe from attack here in England.

Drivers in the Dock: Tonight

Just watched the Tonight programme about car insurance liability for collisions with cyclists - compared during the programme with the liability for running into the back of someone (ie. still assumes neither driver or road user was breaking the law at the time).

The attitude of some participants was that if it was put in place as in Holland and some other european countries, it would result in cyclists crashing into cars far more often. Don't they think that when a cyclist crashes into a car, or van, or taxi, or lorry ..... that it hurts a bit?

Some of the participants seemed to miss the point that the idea is to make liability proportional to how much damage a party might do - a cyclist might dent the bodywork of a car - but far worse tends to happen to a cyclist/pedestrian/child etc when hit by a motor vehicle.

I suppose that since most people drive but don't cycle, it will probably be a very unpopular proposal, but for lots of reasons to do with health and environment it would be good if more people could be encouraged to walk and cycle, and that means making the roads less threatening to pedestrians (including children) and cyclists.

It is, of course, important that cyclists act as road vehicles and obey the law - including red lights, pavements and one way streets, but there is no doubt who generally comes off worse in a collision, as the programme showed.

Well I know it was on the wrong messageboard (being as it was on the US elections board) but I thought it might have been moved to this board rather than erased altogether. Just as I suspected some people don't like free speech if that free speech goes against their own narrow minded view of the world (ie pro globalisation, pro positive discrimination i.e. pro preferential treatment for certain racial & religious groups). Censoring other people's views? Not my idea of "liberal".

So Britain and USA want more troops from other NATO countries to join them in training the Afghan armies to a very high standard so that they can fight the taliban themselves and run their own country.

Erm... I'll never get a degree in psychology but surely it must be obvious to everyone that as soon as we have used all our money, troops time and resources to train them - they will be in a stronger position to send highly trained extremists to the UK and the rest of the world to attack us from within?

European Nationalists set for £10M EU funding

The British National Party has joined forces with other European Nationalist groups in a new European Alliance of National Movements.

The movement will not be recognised as a political bloc in the European Parliament, but it might receive EU funding as a pan-European grouping.

BNP leader Nick Griffin - one of two Euro MPs from the party - said the funding would be 11m euros (£10m).

French and Hungarian nationalists are heading the alliance with the BNP.

Fellow MEPs Bruno Gollnisch of the French National Front and Balczo Zoltan of the Hungarian Jobbik party launched the new movement in Brussels, alongside Mr Griffin.
