I grew up in the 80's watching Jeremy Beadle. He was a genius and a very, very lovely man. How sad that he was often ridiculed. Many of us would not have realised how tirelessly he worked to raise money for charity and what a tragic irony that his own demise came after a battle with the very illness he fought to help cure. The world has lost a truly unique person and he will be missed

Jeremy will be sorely missed, About 3 years ago my friend had a 4x4, My Dad is a mechanic and was doing some work on my friends 4x4, It was left at my home overnight, for fun I printed 30 wallet sized photo's of Jeremy and hid them in his car. He found 27. He sold that 4x4 a while back, I hope someday someone finds the last 3 pictures and has a good laugh when they see Jeremy's smile. Watch out heaven, Beadle's about!

was so sad hearing on the passing of a great enterainer as well as a lovely man!he will be sorely missed from our screens and the lives of those he touched upon!shame he left our screens as i missed his shows when they were finished :O( maybe itv could repeat them once a week as a tribute to him and his work?i for one would watch them again! remember him most for beadles about and game for a laugh and you've been framed!such great talent! won't find his kind again he was a one off! my condolences to his loved ones hes left behind and to all who knew him personally may he wind up the angels in the sky! r.i,p, jeremy u will be missed xxxxxxxxxx

I met Jeremy about 10 years ago - he took my wife and I out to a Russian Restaurant in Liverpool - He said he wanted to do something different !!! Then he spent an amazing amount of time with students at the Hospital School of which I was Head. He was 100% genuine and I feel privileged to have met a man with such a commitment and passion for bringing joy to troubled souls. He was a positive force for good - Thanks Jeremy

When i was young,about 10 years old,myself and my family would settle down in the front room of our broken home living on a run down council estate.Many sad things were going on throughout our homelife.Each day being as bad as the last.My mum trying hard to make ends meet and trying to give us a good life.Looking back on those years,i can always remember sitting about a meter from the television,my mum sat on the ripped sofa with her legs up ensuring there was no room for anyone else to sit next to her after her hard day at work.My brother always sat in the armchair.

But even though the times back then were very hard for my family after seeing domestic violence as an everyday occurence which had become normal to us,there was always a guarantee that when Jeremy Beadle was on the television,we would have our moments of pure laughter for an hour or so.The moments that we all laughed in unison together and enjoyed ourselves.I thank Jeremy for this and also all the team behind the scenes for giving me the feeling of laughter even if it was just once a week.It was always worth waiting a week for.If there was a word that outexpreesed thankyou,that would be it.

Thank you for all the good feeling you sent out across the united kingdow over generations. Television was so much more when you were on it. You brought familys together and saved so many lives. Truly an angel on earth. Mr Jeremy Beadle MBE - I will miss your presence, your charismatic smile and personality - and your effect on our world. Thankyou Jeremy.

Jeremy Beadle will, of course, be widely remembered for his hilarious TV work on Game for a Laugh, Beadles About and You've Been Framed. I can remember Saturday nights where my entrie family and i almost couldnt breathe because we found his stunts so funny. Just sitting here typing this is bringing back memories of when they tricked that poor lady that aliens had landed in her back garden!!!!!!! Jeremy was, in my personal opinion, a truley great, un-selfish individual and this backed up by his huge work for charity which, deservedly so, earned him an MBE.

I would like to wish Jeremy's family my deepest sympathy at this difficult time and im sure you will agree when i say that Jeremy Beadle will not be forgotton!

we knew jeramy through the charity reach we meet jeramy every october at the agm and family week end . he knew all the childrens names, he qued for his brekfast at the hotel like every one else.we had lots of fun with him and scott the magician, we will miss him loads.jack mcmanus.

I loved all the stuff he did over the years and thought him a genuine and funny person. I will miss him and when I told my partner Jeremy had died he got all upset. Jeremy made our Saturday Nights when we were younger. R I P Jeremy.

I have heard all the rubbish jokes etc. about Jeremy, but do you know what, the world is a lot poorer without this guy. I am just an insignificant member of the public who occasionally watches TV. He was a great TV maker and I hope he rests in the knowledge that he made a lot of people happy with his shows God Bless.

the man was a national tresure and im sure in a strange way the nation probelly feels like theyve lost a loveble tv uncle bit like a piece of furniture in a home, and only until its gone do you realise that the home looks that much more drabe and dull without it he will be sorley missed and im sure his legacy of tireless charity work and great tv will stay in our hearts and minds for years to come

may flights of angel bring him to a peaceful rest within the kingdom of GOD
