I know numerous girls who have got pregnant to obtain benefits and a council house. There parenting skills are practically non existent and their idea of wholesome eating is out of a baby jar, a microwave packet or MacDonalds. I worry about this generation. And the ones with the power to change it are not listening. They were spotless. My husband had a job also. I know one or two people that have done exactly that. Where I live in Scotland, there is a single parent unit which supplies brand new prams, cots etc. and gives a £500 grant to single mums on the birth of their child.
