I have been bored with the current cookery programmes on TV and I am a bit of a foodie.

I have found Rosemary Shrager's kindness with her contestants very firm but kind and very encouraging

to them whilst they are trying to impress her and making lots of mistakes.

Well done continuing to watch the finale.

While chefs(and potential chefs)must be able to cook all kinds of food for customer's taste (including rosemary) I fell that the constant demand and requests for undercooked beef, lamb, venison and tuna is not what the real world wants. Out of a group of people discussing various cooking shows not one of them really like with the raw food that rosemary seems to push and make viewers believe they should be eating.

Also the constant idemand for salt salt salt is not what most of the world wants (only britain seems to push this) The cooking shows should be looking at the healthy and more average tastes rather than the extremes.

Humiliation TV is having its fifteen minutes' airspace...but Rosemary's rather more friendly now that an the start... I enjoy the human aspects of this show;bnut I have two suggestions for rounding off the dismissals in a rather more positive way : stop saying 'leave my kitchen...' We know it's yours... just say 'leave THE kitchen' okay ?

And after your dismissal speech with reasons, say something on the lines of 'Go and get in more practice at home/ on a cookery course and PROVE ME WRONG !' That will give an upbeat ending -- there's hope yet for the dedicated -- to both the sad dismissed when they're really 'gutted' and to the watching audience ?

under-cooked food

Icannot believe that Mark was kicked out,not once did he serve up raw food,he tried too hard methinks ;perhaps if he had been younger and had experienced chefs/cooks at home then he would have been chosen.I don't want to watch anymore .Rosemary Shrager albeit a marvellous Chef,is rather biased,so no more Reality Chef for me.I also think that not all like under-cooked meat,I hpoe Mark gets an apprenticeship with a very good Chef as his potential is there.

Hi,

just to let you know Rachel is actually Charlotte! I can also let you know that I did have a word with Rosemary but it was never shown! She asked me if I wanted to be a chef and I said that I didn't know and didn't want to lie and say that I was 100% certain that this was what I wanted to do, so she couldn't keep me ahead of Luke.

I don't want to be unnecessarily mean, but surely something can be done to dampen the sounds of Ms. Shrager's tasting of contestants dishes.

Do the producers of this show rerally review and edit without sound?

A generally interesting programme is spoilt by the barnyard-like chomping of our eponymous host, and detracts from an otherwise informative cookery show.

Todays Show Losing Rachel !

Hi Everyone,What on earth is Rosemary Shrager thinking? Why on earth she has dismissed Rachel from today's show and kept Luke.In my opinion Rachel was far superior to Luke.it seems to me that she quite often favours the men in the series! What do others think?

Dear Rosemary

I absolutely adore your programme and record it so I can watch it when I come home from work, I love the fact that you always end your comments on a positive note.

However I think Ben or Paul should have gone through tonight, mainly because Paul learned the most this week and Ben was exceptional all week. Kaitlyn only got through I think because she was panicking and turned on the tears. The same with Cara, They both had help from Paul and Ben in the run up to he final and in the final, Ben boned Kaitlyns duck for her and also you helped Cara quite a lot, which really isn't fair on all the other contestants.

Anyway, I am looking forward to the second series and think you are great

Why did Rosemary put through the eventual winner, when he failed to properly complete his starter?

The ladies today completed all their tasks, and yet appeared to be marked down.

The invited chef, with a Michelin star, did not add any enthusiasm whatsoever to the proceedings, and might as well not have been there.

The programme was spoilt by the perverse decision and her choice of guest.

Who went through??

I've just been watching today's edition of the Cookery School. I know it's a very personal opinion but I find the sound of Rosemary tasting the dishes quite disgusting. Surely the sound equipment could be set up so we are not subjected to the sound of her slurping & chomping her way through various dishes. It doesn't help that she finds it necessary to smack her lips regularly, the idea of sitting near her at a dinner party would be quite repugnant. I'm sure that Rosemary knows her stuff and don't doubt her ability to produce wonderful food!

I love Rosemary Shrager's School for Cooks but through work commitments am missing some, especially the Friday edition and won't get to see each week's winner. Nothing is shown on itv catch up and I cannot record it.

Anyone know who won last week's please?
