Thinking ahead to making the film, as many of you know this year we will be bringing 3 camera men (1 per team) which will capture the 3 teams adventures, but as with all the films we have done the best bits are the bits captured by you guys with your own cameras in your cars. As usual we will supply tapes at the briefing and collect them at the end of the trip so we can edit the best bits into the film.

The better the content and quality of what you film the better the chance of it being used in the film. So is you would like a camera mount for your camcorder please let us know.

Your tapes will be handed back to you at the reunion (mid september)

Georgous day

Guy's

I know RRO8 is fast approaching and you have probably already started to prepare your own lists, however here are a few helpful reminders.

Passport, is yours current ? Do you know where it is ? could be worth checking.

Car. If it is due for a service before we go, is it worth booking in now ? Also Tyres, don't want to tackle the Route Napoleon on slicks (actually !!!!) No, you will want a half decent amount of tread before we go.

Insurance, some Insurance companies need to be informed if you are traveling abroad on a "Driving Holiday" Might be worth checking out.

GB Stickers, We will supply.

Documents. If stopped (for a photo) you wll be asked to produce your vehicle registration document as well as your driving License. If you fail to do so, it will result in an on the spot fine, as i found out. If like me you still have a pink and green version held together with most of the selotape in the UK, that will probably deteriorate the next time it is exposed to oxygen, it might be worth sending of for a card version.

Sat Navs. Although we will provide Maps with our route marked on them, you might still feel comfortable knowing Her, or Him in the dash have their own European maps installed.

I hope these are Helpful reminders

Will e mail the above to all.

Jon Car 2, Team 2
