When Debbie Jasmine & Eli lived in the the house Eli had to sleep on the sofa suggesting there was only two rooms.A room was recently decorated for sarahs return in pink.what are the sleeping arrangments now that cain is there?

I'm very pleased that Cain has returned at last, Jeffs a great actor, he and Cain bring life to the show- away from the usual boring older folk nattering at each other, yawn. Anyhow, I like it how he is clever, cunning, plays tricks and gets away with loads of stuff and even is looking out for Debbie too, so there is a balanced character we all know and love. It reminds me of having Nick Cotton back to Eastenders, the classic loveable rogue characters such as Cain always uplift soaps when they're becoming ridicolous.

I love his lurking around watching what is going on to get the upper hand. The smirk when he saw Mark with Faye was great, although it did remind me of Nick Cotton at that point.

I admire Cains protective concern and support for Debbie. The love he has for his daughter and grandaughter is probably the only honest and abiding emotion he has ever had in his life. They genuinely do come before anyone else or anything else, including his own life and safety. I just wish the character was played differently. I was hoping for a villain who had made the big time, returning to Emmerdale with atleast a veneer of sophistication, a bit of poise and finesse. Instead we've got an old fashioned teddy boy. The clothes and greasy look, the swaggering, grinning bravado, the gum chewing, juvenile comments and general bad manners. You almost expect him to hang around the street corner, shouting insults and whistling at the girls as they go by. Come on directors. You have an excellent actor. So direct!!

The word perverted has infact been "perverted" these days and people only think in terms of sexual perversion.

Cain has in fact very perverted morals and ideas of family.

He thinks nothing of being nasty and bullying towards his brother, cousin and nephew (and just about all of humanity) but then is all caring about his daughter and grandaughter. This is a classic sign of sociopathy. The Krays were very good to their mother.

So no Daffodilly the word pervy does not mean anything other than it always has.

There was Sadie, but as she was an accomplist it would be her word against Cain's.

Who remembers that one when Cain dreadfully took anvantage of a much younger girl (child really) out of spite, tried to kill an old man then had an affair with the mother.

Never mind, he is a good father???? errrr son???? errrr brother??? (Maybe Sam deserves to be called a fat head, bullied and pushed around)

The writers did relent slightly when he took the blame for Alice's euthenasia.
