It sounds difficult, but if you can do one by one. It will be easy.

What you should do is to save money in everyday use:

1. make a plan for everyday use

2. go shopping only when you need it and make a shopping list

3. cut the cost of your fuel bills

4.cut your home phone bills

5. buy local goods

6. do DIY

7. book when discount

8. do an off-season holiday

...

Many tips you can search by internet.

Some good sites I want to introduce to you:

No longer will there be a place to relax over a pint after work or while away the evening with a game of darts.

Following the catastrophic effect of the smoking ban, the person in the street who enjoys a pint and a ciggarette is penalised in order to pay for the planned cut in VAT.

If the government addressed the true problems of binge drinking, with supermarkets selling below cost alcohol in vast quantities for consumption in an uncontrolled environment, the increase in price would allow fair competition between the on and off trade. Therefore providing increased revenue to our countries depleted coffers.

I have to look at how much the wage is ,how much it would cost to get to the job before I can even think about applying, its so unfair.

Budget blues

Is it me or is Budget day the most depressing day of the year?

budget

im a mum of four aged 13 to 1, am i going to be spending my extra child benefit on taxing our 7 seater vehicle, which we bought 2nd hand last year you cannot buy a people carrier to squeeze in 4 kids pram football gear etc... with a small litre engine! i will not go back to work as my children need me at home doing what mums should, why should my hubby work 7 days a week for us to be penalised... it would be cheaper for us to go on benefits!
Budget effect on the disabled living in the country

My wife and I are both disabled and use our small car to attend hospitals in Farnborough Kent and Croydon. Petrol in the country garages is always more expensive than London - when London was 99p per litre we were paying £1.06. We have only one food shop in Westerham and must travel 7 to 10 miles to our nearest Supermarkets. We have not taken a holiday since October 2005 and our car mileage for the past 12 months was less than 7000 miles. The Chancellor is collecting at least 74p out of every litre we pay. Why can't he grant a special consession for all registered disabled who have to travel for treatment and survival?.

I served as a regular army officer for 26 years. My stomach and spleen were removed 5 years ago due to the long term effect of atomic radiation whilst my wife and I were stationed in Hiroshima Japan in the Army of Occupation after the war, I have physically wasted away from 16 stone to only 9 stone and need extra heating day and night.

My wife is a life time diabetic and paralysed following a stroke 4 years ago and is confined to a wheel chair. She is gradually learning to speak again and has attended hospital once or twice each week for the past 4 years. We are grateful for the Christmas fuel bonus but the cost of everything as a result of this budget will greatly increase our plight. Major Alan Taylor-Smith

Budget

As usual nothing has been done to lift pensioner's out of poverty. The one off payment of £50 extra while welcome still won't allow us to heat our bedroom. With coal at £10 a bag it will keep our fire in for 3 weeks. As we live in a very old stone built house we can't benefit from grants to insulate. For eg. Cavity wall insulation is no good we don't have cavity walls. Roof insulation we don't have a loft so that doesn't apply. Other years we have used electric oil filled radiators but with electric being the price it is and with food prices rising, and fuel costs escalating this year we have been unable to afford to heat the bedroom. It really has come to the choice of heat or eat!!!! Council tax is a crippler it takes all my husbands pension and some of mine one week in four to pay our council tax. Our income is fixed so I can only see things getting worse. What is needed is a real raise in the Old Age Pension a realistic amount to live on. Without the humiliation of going with a begging bowl for for means tested benefits. Who wants to give this government personal information they are incapable of looking after it!! The abolition of the 10% tax means we will again have to pay tax which will wipe out the small increase in out state pension for 2008 - 2009 so we haven't been helped only hurt by this budget.

This budget makes me realise why the government wanted 24 hour drinking !! they can now maximise their tax take on boozy britain !!!

Green taxes Bah! humbug! again the worse off are hit hardest how does saying, if you can afford to pay its alright to have as big a carbon footprint as you like. How on earth is that going to prevent Global Warming???? The answer surely is to stop making gas guzzlers and stop lighting up our towns with advertising neon signs, and all the lighting of shops when they are shut ! think of the power saving if they were all switched off. Instead we encourage all night clubbing what a waste of power !! Can't we turn our waste to energy? We are an island think of all the renewable power twice a day with tidal power !

For Budget 2008 read Fudge it 2008 !!
