Why the hell is she still here? I have to sit with a sick bucket when she comes on screen defending her boyfriends.. when is she ever gonna learn. It's a great shame she will never be a role model for all them women out there who daren't leave their partners, they'll sit there and watch her take her drooling miserable boyfriends back time after time, and the watchers will follow... poor women. (and yes i have fled domestic violence, and she makes me sick to the stomach) i know there has not been any violence with Joe....YET, but he's still messing with her emotions.She should get rid stand strong for every women and stand up for all the women who have to watch her..

Judgement on Tony - heartless murder or crime of passion???

What Tony Gordon did was a terrible thing, but in light of the fact that in tonight's episode he gave himself up, and showed considerable remorse, as well as saving Roy from the canal, was what he did to Liam really the work of a heartless murderer, or a crime of passion? Not that either way he should be given any less a sentence, for it should be a life for a life, but can we really compare his character to that of Richard Hillman, the heartless killer, who committed his crimes without any passion whatsoever?

If Roy believes that Tony killed Liam, why doesn't he try to contact Carla???

I mean surely he would start to connect the dots and realise that Carla's hasty departure from the street might have had something to do with Tony's dirty deed.

And it wouldn't take Hercule Poirot to discover that Leanne has a contact number.

New... Maria and Liam Script Game

Had an idea for a new script for Liam and Maria game (if anyone's interested?!)....

Perhaps, Maria and Liam could have broke up following the affair between Carla and Liam (after they lost the baby).

They get a divorce, both going their separate ways, Liam is busy with Ladrags whilst Maria owns a successful salon in the city.

Liam and Carla had a relationship but it didn't last and Maria currently has a boyfriend who works away a lot and treats her badly. Liam is currently single and decides to visit Maria after visiting Baby Pauls grave and seeing flowers from her there. Perhaps they could grow closer again as Liam looks out for his ex-wife and realises how much he misses her.

Just an idea... if anyone fancies having a go at starting?!... I'm just not too sure where we can carry on going with the other script game

What on earth did Sally think she was going to acheive by daubing paint all over Fizz and John's windows?? John had the right attitude about just ignoring her. It has been mentioned before she is (another) one suffering from short term memory loss. She herself would have been more than ready to have an affair with John but he wasn't interested because of Fizz, probably wouldn't have been even if Fizz hadn't been around. It was nice to see Ches (who isn't John's biggest fan) standing up for Fizz. Sally says she is doing it all for Rosie's sake but Rosie herself doesn't seem that bothered, I notice she walked away embarressed when Sally was having yet another go at Fizz and John.

What a stupid storyline.

A man is mending Michelle's roof then he is rescued and brought into her flat where she is only wearing a towel and he proceeds to kiss her!!!!

That sort of storyline would have worked better in a carry-on film!

Also it makes light of a potentially serious situation - a complete stranger in the flat of a young woman who is alone and vulnerable attempting to physically force himself upon her, I mean ok so he is pretty dishy but then I am sure that not all stalkers and rapists are pug ugly.

Ringing the police was a good idea but even that was done tongue in cheek.

Come on Corrie writers we expect more than a 'carry-on' in the 21st century!

You know how soaps tend to attach great big warning signs to certain storylines? Well, do you reckon this is the case with Michelle's flat's leaky roof + tight Dev not paying for roof repairs + Ben bunking there? Does all this add up to rainfall causing roof to cave in when Ben is asleep directly under it? Thus Dev will spend months mooning about declaiming his guilt in his stupidly overemphatic style and Sophie will go off t'rails and lose her religion cos how could God allow such a tragedy blah, blah blah?

Do you think I'm spookily on-target here? There's got to be some significance to the whole leaky roof thing - any other guesses?

Why do the Writers pick on Tyrone like this he gets a wife who he's mad about then all of a sudden she is going to have a affair and i suppose we will have the cliche who's the dad storyline after molly becomes pregnant and she doesn't know if it's Tyrone's or Kevin's.

I missed the beginning of tonights episode because I thought it was scheduled for Thursday night.

Only I think that Pam should tell Bill then the two of them can give the cringeworthy pair a good talking to.

Kev and Molly do seem to be feeling the pressure, which is good, because see them stressing is far better than seeing them snogging, so more pressure please and less sickening love scenes.

does anyone else agree that its no wonder corie never seems to win best soap and why eastenders seems to wipe the floor with them at the nta awards every year, with storylines like bringing unrealastic useless characters into the kabin week in wk out, molly and kevins affair and uncle umed no wonder people dont bother voting for it . not forgetting rosies bad acting ( the storyline where luke ripped her of was worth watching but nothing else she does is )

was just wondering when tyrone decorated the living room did he just paint one wall as the other wall has old fashioned blue wallpaper on totally differant colour with a pattern on or did he just decorate one wall and that paper was up before? its just the colour he painted the wall is modern the rest of the house is still really old fashioned dosent make sense.

Perhaps someone can enlighten me here but I dont understand this shares business. When Luke first came on the scene he said he had bought Carla's shares, and Tony checked this out with the solicitor as he was dubious of him. Now Carla is to return but she wouldnt have any control as the shares are now sold, Luke is selling them on to Rosie, why are they worthless and surely even a silly girl like Rosie would realise you dont pay the money over first, it would go through a solicitor.

Is Carla on a death wish??

It is just so far from reality that Carla would ever arrange to meet Tony Gordon, a man capable of killing those who get in his way, in secret, then proceed to present him with an ultimatum. Did she have a gun hidden beneath her coat? Or did she have back-up hidden behind the trees when she met with Tony?

I mean he is just so obviously going to try and kill her now, she might as well have drawn a target on her back.

I think that the scripwriters could have been a tad more subtle with this one.

Why on earth don't the Corrie scrip-writers use Tony Gordon's character to initiate a cull of a few of the more yawnworthy or highly irritating characters on the street.Just Imagine him making short work of the gruesome twosome - Molly and Kev - then moving on to mow down silly simpering *** - Rosie - finishing off with a flourish that takes out the whingeing windasses.

Like Eastenders Corrie could 'go Godfather', with Tony heading up a gangster dynasty, bringing in some dishy badboys to spice things up a bit.

With that ghastly hair not tied back and that bandage on his hand that looks as if it hasn´t been washed or changed for decades, not to mention the state of his taxi on a daily basis - quite turns my tum, it does!!

The scripts go on constantly about his skill as a baker but, relly and truly, I couldn´t let anything of his pass my lips.

Prison Wedding

I found myself profoundly unmoved by the Stape/Brown wedding and I´m one of those TV viewers who usually pours with tears at TV weddings!!

Surely the wedding should have been a most moving occasion - especially as Fizz was hustled out at the end. All the characters involved are good, solid Corrie actors who have many brilliant scenes behind them but even the "reconciliation" with Chesney left me cold.

Was it just badly written, poorly directed or carelessly acted? Whatever - it just didn´t work.
