would be pretty gruesome if you did bring someone back from the dead, but who do you lot want to haunt the cobbles?

i would like michelle to become haunted by dean's ghost (dean being the father of ryan) and paul connor come and haunt leanne!
oh yeah and charlie stubbs come and haunt somewhere like the builders yard or haunt tracy in prison!

I have collected the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s boxsets, and I am hoping they will release episodes from the 1990s.

I miss this great family

I mean, as good as the Connor's are we will never feel as much for Liam as we did for the legendary Mike Baldwin, when he died in his long time rivals arms (kinda like Liam in Tony's arms, but a lot more history)

and Danny Baldwin, no matter how good Paul Connor was, he wasnt as clever and cunning as Danny, who orchestrated his disappearance so that he could destroy Jamie's marraige

and last but not least, Frankie Baldwin (Dan's wife, not Mike's dad) who was better anyday than Michelle :D

Gail's voice could sell china, it is soft , whisery and delicate.Is that the real actor's voice?.She is a weak character in my opnion. Her son was cruel to her yet she smiles and takes him back.Voice matches her but it is an annoying voice!

Hi Guys,I'm trying to dig up as much archived footage of Coronation Street as possible as part of a project I work on in a University research lab. I was thinking that this might be a good place to get some help with that. Specifically, we're looking for clips of older characters from Coronation Street involved in a few different situations:1) Being threatened by a member of their own family in some way2) Being robbed or burgled3) Talking to somebody at their front door4) Being mugged or harassed 5) Clips of people being intimidated by hoodies6) People looking at their t.v. and being upset6) Any other clips of older people on the street being the victim of crime in some wayIf anyone is curious as to why we want all this, the idea behind it is that we are working on a design process to look at surveilance technology for older people to help reduce their concerns around crime. Part of what qwe want to do in the design is present them with video clips of recognisable characters being troubled by crime and possibly (Depending on how well we can edit clips together) show how a device might help or hinder them in each of those situations.Any comments or help would be really appreciated,Stephen

My favourite Corrie character of all time was Hilda Ogden. Anyone remember her? Its been over 20 years since she left. I was very young then! However ive watched the Corrie DVD's and there were some really classic scenes with her and Stan.

I wish Hilda would return to the show, even if it was for a guest appearance.

i am so so sorry to coask but you see this is my last hope of finding the 3 corrie eps i have always wanted to re-live and see again.
Basically, for about three years now i have been searching for three episodes from 2000 that someone could put to dvd for me, but no-one has them, so you are my only hope, the eps i am after are the one where sarah louise platt gives birth and alison webster takes bethany, then the next ep where Alison sadly runs underneath a lorry and the following ep, so therefore 3 eps, i am so sorry to ask but i am desperate for these, i'd do anything in return, so so sorry to ask once again, but this is my only hope.

I taped a programme of the other night and only managed to watch it yesterday.

It was based on the funniest moments in Corry which left me howling with laughter.

One scene was when Curlys wife went into labour with Norris present. One of them said you have to be 10 cm before the baby can be born and Norris offered to get a tape measure and Curlys wife (think her name was Emma) nearly strangled him...Classic stuff

Also when Norris thought that Rita was dead in her flat and told Ken, Sally, Blanche and Jack in the shop. They all went upstairs to the flat and all jumped when they realised she wasn't dead when she let out a yell when she woke from a deep sleep and seen them all. Blanche said "it's a wonder you could tell under all that makeup"

I keep thinking of all the funny moments and will filter more when I think of them

When Granada Plus closed down a few years ago, the old eps ceased broadcasting

Storyline for the 40th anniversary live episode?

Someone asked me recently about the storyline for the 40th anniversary episode and it has been bugging me ever since. They did the whole episode live - it was really very impressive. I think it was around Christmas time a few years ago? Can anyone remember the storyline?
