Defo bring back Elsie Tanner.I was very young when she was in it but I have lots of photos and scripts from way back when and she was a fab character.A real queen of the cobbles.Only a few would remeber her though who are still in it.Pat phoenix was a great actress though.I have watched a brilliant brawl between her and Ena.The script was fab and the cattiness inspired!Great thread!

if i had the choice of which characters i would have loved to have stayed in Corronation Street in general from anyone in the shows past it would be the following: Tommy Harris, Aiden Critchley, Jezz Quiggley, Tony Barnes because i liked these characters a lot and i thought that they were good characters.
