• Re: 60 minute makeover

I'm glad you are happy with the work they did and like the end result. I guess it is completely different if you are the one having your home done, then actually watching it. Tell me, what was the finish like - the end result. Are there any missing bits? I notice that they appear to ignore doors and skirtings. Do you have to pay for anything?

Isn't it something to do with contracts? If you have a speaking part (such as the presenter and indeed some of the DIYers like Craig) they have to pay them more? I notice there is more time for idle chat since they have only got a mere three rooms to makeover now instead of four. Who cares whether someone likes the floor or the ...

pezza20: Does anyone else find Terri Dwyer the most patronising, condescending and bossy presenter on 60 minute makeover?! It makes me quitre angry! Drop the cheesy west country accent, it's NOT Cornish!

  • Re: Doc Martin

Never watched the last series, except the first episode. Being Cornish, it seemed to be a bit of a joke. The accent is completely wrong (west country), but the scenery is fabulous. I have watched some of the episodes of this last series and, once I got into the characters, have started to enjoy it and the accent just seems to ...

  • Re: Complaints - How Jeremy speaks to people

I think Jeremy is great and the programme is really entertaining. He really gets people to talk - even the most stubborn people finally break down and reveal. OK, he may get on his high horse now and then when he wants to speak, but he has to have a modicom of authority, otherwise situations can get out of hand e.g. everyone talking and shouting ...
