• Re: dressing mastectomy survivors

I'm pretty sure they did have a mastectomy survivor in the show where people got naked.

  • Re: Petite

I don't know if this is true or not, but I read on another forum somewhere that Trinny and Susannah do not know how to dress petite women because they are both tall. Another thing I thought of is that on their show, T&S like to start their show by dressing up like the people the show is about. For example, putting on ''old lady'' makeup ...

  • Re: Gaps in the market

Hi. I have the same problem. I am also 30E size 6/8/10, 43 years old. Would like to be able to wear tops that aren't baggy on the shoulders and waist or so tight around the boobs that the buttons pop open, and to be able to wear a pair of jeans that fits me around both the hips and the waist. I also have a bit of a pet ...

  • Re: size 10 freaks

I also agree with Lizzy 85 that it is wrong to call anyone a freak. I think the reason this ''debate'' started is because someone was trying to justify it, and it's not justifiable. I have said all I have to say on the matter as well.

  • Re: Confused about colours

Well, I did not see the show but looked at the colour charts on the website and none suit me either. I have light skin, but it has a green undertone. It is the same undertone as olive skin, I guess, but it is not much darker than a Gaelic complexion. I also have lots of freckles. I have dark brown hair and brown ...

  • Re: size 10 freaks

Shopping for a size 6 is not the same as shopping for a size 12. However, for the same person - shopping for a size 12 is different than shopping for a size 22 because their proportions don't change. But other people have clothing problems that have nothing to do with size. People are short, tall, have big busts (in ...

  • Re: Horrified

Actually, the average dress size hasn't gone up much, even though the average weight has, because clothing manufacturers do a neat little trick called ''vanity sizing'' where they make the sizes on the labels get smaller and smaller so people can continue weight the same size or even gain weight while claiming that they fit into a smaller ...

  • Re: size 10 freaks

les size 10: . I used to work in a dept store helping ladies of ALL sizes choose underwear (you,d be surprised its just as hard for thin ladies to buy a bra, at least bigger ladies fill them) the amouint of times i got told, quite rudely ''Its alright for you your skinny'' and like you said those people didnt know me or my personal ...

  • Re: Plus Size . . . what's being forgotten

I don't have any problem with Vicky herself, as most of us at some time or another have had our words taken the wrong way or have said things that we didn't mean the way they sounded. And I agree with the sentiment on this thread. My problem is with T&S, with programs like these where large women are seen as the only women who have ...

mumsrgreat: What a great couple of messages - so nice after all the attacks on us. How does objecting to being insulted constitute an attack?
