ITV seems to be on a downward spiral, they're cutting the wrong programmes. Corrie and Emerdale may be surviving, but so much quality drama is going. If they lose quality, they'll lose the fight against all the digital channels, and where will they be then? And we will be all the poorer. It's not too late, ITV!

No, you are not the only one! There are shades here of Foyle's War, ITV messed that absolutely brilliant seies about, perhaps we can take some comfort from the fact that next week's Radio Times shows that Foyle will be returning for another, albeit short, run. And the BBC is accepting that it messed Blue Peter about, by altering times, and ...

They will have had their break from the last series, they were supposed to have stopped for a couple of ...

I saw the filming in April of the last programme in the current series, to be shown in the UK sometime in September, the crew and cast were then to be given a couple of weeks off before filming starts on the new series - so there's plenty more Heartbeat to come! Incidentally, I'm pleased to see that the last episodes in this present series starts ...

There are quite a few welcoming B&Bs in Goathland if you ever get the chance to come over.........

Just got back from 4 days in Goathland (Aidensfield), they were filming the last episode of the current series. Joe, PC Younger (I've forgotten his real name) and Peggy (Gwen) were brilliant, mingling with the (considerable) crowds of onlookers, in between takes. Not at all stand-offish. In our B&B the bumpf from ITV said that the crew ...

Trouble is, if it was brought into the eighties, the police station would probably have closed, and the country bobby, the point behind the series, would have disappeared. The story belongs just to that era, admitted that produces problems as members of cast get older, etc, but can you imagine a 'Heartbeat Today', such as there is now 'The Royal ...
