OMG this thread has gone a bit personal and off topic. I would agree with your point, I think his dad is over-possesive and protective. The FIA must surely know the feeling of the public on this one, the forums have been full of this subject and there have been petitions. The opinions of the other drivers don't matter, they are not going to bite the hand that feeds them, are they? If this isn't overturned they are showing contempt for the fans.
