This is not the first time renault have been found guilty of cheatting, during the whole ferrari mclaren spygate thing renault were found to have all the plans and details of the 2006 and 2007 mclaren far more information than mclaren had from ferrari and they were found guilty and not punished, so lets hope this time they are punished as much as ...

ferrarisb:I think this weekend has highlighted a big issue in F1. If a driver is aware of something wrong with their car (e.g Alonso thought he had a puncture) they should not be trying to limp back to the pits therefore endangering other drivers, they should just pull off somewhere safe, tough luck if it ruins their race!!

All the teams have their own timing abilities and i think the cars do as well cause every one knew their time as we seen with alonso trying to find out where he was. so race control will just ask for their timings this is assuming it wasnt just a display issue it is entirely posible the timings were still running and it just wasnt on the screens

Was it just me that thought oh god not again when they saw Massa. Hope he is ok and can race tomorrow, he seemed ok being taken in to the medical centre moving his arms etc. On that note who is Ferrari's reserve driver?

I would guess it was the wheel the impact with the barrier was quite a light hit by formula one standards and the F2 cars have the same saftey specs as F1 cars
