• Re: Poppies on X-Factor

Over and above the fact that both are purely ...

flirtykitty: I would like people to show respect for the dead, dying and fighting soldiers past and present as soon as poppies start going on sale. If people don't know why they are wearing poppies they should get themselves to school and get an education. I would like people to show respect for ALL who have given their lives in the service ...

He was hilariously funny, both as Jerry Leadbetter in The Good Life and Jim Hacker in Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister (I have all of both on DVD - and they don't really date that much!!! The humour is still as funny!!!) Funny how he always seemed to play kind of down trodden ''followers'' rather than ...

  • Rosie phoning the bank

Hilarious!!! I want to know which bank she belongs to because she's the only person I'ves seen in YEARS who can call a bank and speak to a HUMAN right away without 46 automated ''options''!!!! Talk about unrealistic!! Granted it would be pretty boring tv seeing her being told ''your call is very important to us....'' but still.......!!!

I see now why you're no advocate of Scottish independence, Joanna - not much solidarity here! joanna: I've seen various discussions on this thread about appropriate Christmas presents - David, in the nicest ...
