She's just a bit narked about being called ''Diesel Di'' in the book, and being described as being grumpy or whatever. [a bit like Deirdre having a go at Ken in Corrie over his novel]. I think it's quite typical of Diane - after all, he is her ex!

I think she is a proper ''Street'' character, has fitted in quite well already! I know she wont get in with Jack.....hmmm then again, he is leaving soon as well isn't he? Maybe the two of them WILL get together and leave the street. After all, there's no other way they could write him out (they can't kill him off as well!)

I didn't like her at first. I still don't really like her. (nothing against the actress by the way - it's the character I'm talking about). She still looks like a femme fatale throwback from the 1950's and is a 21st century tart! But maybe she will 'mellow' a bit . I think there's a bit of hope for her yet. Let's give her a chance...

The 'Oldies' are definitely Corries backbone. Look back at Ena, Minnie and Martha. PLUS Annie Walker, Elsie Tanner (although she wasn't old in those days), Albert Tatlock,Emily Nugent-Bishop (she's always been old), Mr Swaine, Hilda & Stan etc. Nowadays we have Norris, Rita, BLANCHE (my fav.) and good old Emily and Betty Turpin-Williams ...

I certainly couldn't cope with more repeats of 60 Minute Makeover!! I think it's just rumour!

vader:
Perdy: Back of a cab with a newborn in what was a ridiculously unbelievable storyline.
Grayson: Outed and ousted from the village without much of a fight.
Jonny: Drives off narrating a Dear John letter.
Miles: Disappears...
I am truly disgusted in the writing team. For the former two, there could have been a more dramatic ...

I shall miss them....but it's not for long is it? I'm sure all the favourite regulars will be back. And hasn't Andrea put in her notice as weather girl at GMTV to become full-time on Loose Women? She might become the new Kaye Adams(?).

I've read (in the Sun that Matthew Bose is leaving anyway. (?)

This series has been slated so much. And yet I find it quite entertaining. It wasn't advertised as a heavy drama....in fact I seem to remember it being promoted as a mixture of Footballers' Wives & Holby City. Which is basically what it is! It's just good to watch something with a beginning and an end, with nice characters, and an ...

Hilda Ogden would be a laugh to see - only as a one-off appearance though. I don't think she would fit in with the 21st century crowd. I think they should get some ''old favourites'' back for it's 50th anniversary in a couple of years time.
