Sorry folks - posted this on another thread in error - and I'd like to offer four short points if that's ok .
1. I think Renault got off lightly; particularly in light of their corporate responsibilities. Had NP carried out the deed independently, that would (in most eyes) have absolved Renault of ...

Hello folks - been following the furore for the past few weeks and it's been a really fraught and divisive on the posting front regarding this issue. Not a peaceful time but I'd like to make three short points if I that's ok .

Come on drapes - pull yourself together........or it could be curtains for your credibility LOL!!!
I think it's great that Schuey's back - a real target for the young guns and a truly great driver for the current grid to measure up against. I was critical of his win at all costs attitude earlier in his career but warmed to him greatly as he ...

Most certainly yes; Schumacher should be given a day with this year's car - purely from a safety viewpoint. An FIA and FOTA representative should be present for the entire test to ensure that it is being used solely for familiarisation and safety purposes and not to test new parts.

Excellent post pedekay! If my memory serves me, the word ''smooth'' was used in relation to DC quite some years ago; and was then used when JB stepped up to F1.
I recall both Murray and Martin referring to DC in this way and then, naturally, they made an interesting comparison between the two British drivers. ''Smooth'' ...

Sorry red troll, can we please avoid references to pains in the nethers - remember the Duke of Argylls' - or was that anti-haemorrhoid regimentation!! A cracking(?) bunch nonetheless.
Well, pdk - when you said - ''I get the impression that he is trying to show that he is smarter than others and can beat others in an argument'' I have ...

Sorry aveli666, but your continuous filibustering to continue threads for ridiculous lengths is floundering. For a poster with a name that appears to signify the number of the beast and professing it lives (666alive); that's hardly surprising lol !!
However, numerous contributors from across the F1 spectrum on here have afforded you ...

You're very welcome pedekay - indeed it took a bit of guile to get that pic; given Stoddy's reticence for public appearances and Lauda's marketing contract with the Banana Splits!!?
Agree with you about bin bag espionage - watch out for that crafty Italian rascal Flavio Breamandsolay and a few of Ron Dennis' lads from the Mackerel squad doing ...

As you can see pedekay, they've disguised most of the sensitive aerodynamic aspects of the car; no exhaust apparent (usually signified by a smoking jerry built chimney on the side of the vehilce). BUT, the surprise revelation here is the confirmation of the new test pairing of Paul Stoddart and Niki Lauda. No doubt others will be able ...
