Just three words:   flat, boring, unnecessary. I do like Jason Flemyng in other roles, but Primeval just wasn't right for him plus he admitted that he wasn't convinced himself. Actually I'm happy not to see anything of Danny anymore now that it's cancelled.

Because they didn't buy the rights for that song. I assume they choose a song where the rights where cheaper than the one from Israel kamakaviwo'ole. Also the there was a different song in Germany and America on that episode. They did that with other episodes too (for example in series 1, episode 1 the song when Abby drives the car).

Because there are shows that get five times more viewers than Primeval and with that more money for ITV. Don't get me wrong, I'm disappointed that they cancelled Primeval- but from their point of view I guess it just makes sense.

I want Cutter and Jenny to return. Without them Primeval isn't the same, it lacks of character interaction and development. The Cutter/jenny/Claudia storyline was something that really got me hooked. I don' want Danny to return and wouldn't mind if Sarah would stay away too.
