Aeroplane wings have to be that shape, so the pressure on the bottom ( bigger surface) is greater than the pressure on top ( curved+lower pressure because of it ) so it lifts up. If the wings are flat then it wont lift, which is why they also increase flaps on the plane at takeoff to lift easier.
