I have never felt the need to write to any organisation about their television programmes however I am making an exception in the case of The Bill.
What a disaster the new format is! Obviously, the new format is designed to save money. Cheap scripts, atmospheric shots of characters contemplaing their actions have all replaced the ''all ...

Another totally accurate review! It seems that the audience knows more about making good TV than the so called Producers!! (someone should be sacked!!)

I thought I'd give 'the new' Bill another chance tonight. Nothing has changed though. The music is incredibly irritating - and often doesn't match with the mood of the scene. The camera work and editing is detracting from the acting ability of the cast too. I'll give it another 10 minutes - and then give up yet again.

What has happened to the best programme on itv? They will be losing all their viewers if this carries on....
Does anyone out there think the changes are for the better?
Will be be watching re-runs rather then the new episodes ...

I couldn't agree more. The new Bill is dreadful. I gave it another chance this week, but gave up watching after 20 minutes! The Bill used to be the only show on ITV that I watched regularly. It was one of the very few shows on any channel that I would not want to miss.... and now it has been ruined. The Alibi channel ...

Overall I dispair with both BBC and ITV and the overall dumbing down of output.
One of the stars of ITV is undoubtedly the BILL which for many years has been consistently presented to a very high standard with good acting and production. However, what have they done? the show has been destroyed by the accountants. I fully appreciate that ITV is ...
