Escala appear to be professional musicians who have released music and worked commercially.     I did like them best from the semifinal tonight...  And I was pretty impressed with their audition, too.  I'm not living in the UK, so I've been following the show on YouTube and, as catty2k1 pointed out, I too found a link to one very professional video from Scala (where they're playing the same piece as in the audition).  It did ...

    They are a unique act in this competition.  I agree they are a little overrated, I guess it is the element of surprise.  We don't get a lot of that on TV and not everyone knows about Bond (I didn't either, I'm not really into classical music, just ocassional concerts).  They're definitely entertaining.

    Actually two of the girls from Scala were in Wild, not Bond. The two girls in Wild were Izzy Johnston and Chantal Leverton.

    The version of the song is by a female string quartet called ''Bond '' scala are totally trying to copy! Bond are absolutley amazing!!! Its a shame that more people dont know about them!
