Why is the quality of sound and picture often really bad on ITV Player, whereas if you watch it through STV Player it always is excellent quality?

Watching ITV Player live. It still cuts off after 2 hours. at 1hr 59 minutes I get a message saying it will cut off in 60 seconds, when this reaches 0 then a message appears saying click to restart, restarting gets an advert then the picture disappears and programme runs in sound only.  Anyone know if this is meant to happen, I'm sure that over 2 ...

not working for anyone from the looks of it. its itv;s side no one elses. and then they wonder why ratings drop on shows. stick with the other 4 channels catchup services there better anyway
