  • Re: Michael Jackson "overload"

That is what is so frightening John e, not knowing. I had the worst thing to carry out for mum after she died. We took mum and dad's ashes to one of the Mourne mountains overlooking the Spelga Damn. I said what I had to say and I thought, due to the weight, the ashes would fall to the ground. They did not. Instead they rose upwards on the breeze ...

  • Re: Was Dr. Kelly killed?

There are many different types of cancers which require different types of treatment. There used to be many killer diseases eg measles, TB etc but these are preventable due to efforts made by scientists. Fleming discovered penicillin which saved millions of lives (but although gained praise, did not make a penny out of it). Nobody lost ...

  • Re: Police dogs left to die inside handler's car !!!

rosiet2008: stgeorge1: What action will there be ... my guess is nothing, proving that really there is a secret-public-servant-law to cover-up police failings ... they believe they're employed in a blameless and faultless culture club. Anyone else would be prosecuted by the RSPCA - not the police.  It seems they are not only the ...

Charlie's Angels? There probably won't be considering there was no scandal attached to her life.

  • Re: SHAME

Social services were fully aware of the toddler living in a drug den but did nothing about it not listened to the complaints from those who were concerned. I thought drug dealing was a criminal offence.  Not forgetting the other child who was starved to death as a 'punishment' and living in a cess pit. Any demonstrations? No, why is ...

  • Re: Joe pays his respect to MICHAEL JACKSON with a poem

There are not many people who have worked from the age of five (did he have any choice?) to fifty. Not much of a childhood to grow up too fast. There is an old saying about people who work their way to the top, there are even more who will try to pull them down. The prescribed drugs were powerful painkillers but he probably burnt himself out. ...

  • Re: French President Nicolas Sarkozy calls for burka ban

john e:Ofcourse the burka should be banned, it is a shameful thing that a woman is forced to wear.   It is also an easy disguise for a terrorist or criminal, of any sex, to wear to prevent identification.   There used to be a law about going about 'masked'.   If people come to our Country they adopt our way of life, ...

  • Re: Fern Britton leaving.

Oh  dear Fern is leaving. I am sure Baby P is crying in heaven. The grandchildren of frail old age pensioners who were beaten up  and died for a couple of pounds are awfully upset. Phil earns more, oh how terrible. People who have lost their jobs and homes must be terribly upset. Poor Fern, she will get that awful letter similar those ...

  • Re: G20, a smokescreen.

skatequeen: john e:Raging, I know you are Scots and are not too happy with the ENGLISH, but why is it that the English speakers have to try to sort out the worlds problems.   Don't the 'Free world' gablers have any guts. Ah, Colonel Blimp!  How nice to meet you!  I'd like you to meet my other guests, Adolf Hitler, ...

  • Re: Political Dismissal

rosiet2008: imagine anyone still harbouring an intense seething dislike of Thatcher.  I'm obviously a loon. It still astonishes me whenever I learn someone still hates Margaret Thatcher.  I often wonder what's so wrong in people's lives that they continue to harbour such resentment.   Unless one of my family had been ...
