  • Re: New-look F1 website - What do you think?

A lot of ideas that were taken straight out of the Pitpass site.  I spent more time on the ITV site because it had a better flow which it has now lost.   The colours are too harsh together.  Although if your loosing F1 next year i'm not sure how much effort you'll really want to put into making it better...   Chris

  • Re: New-look F1 website - What do you think?

Unfortunately I don't think anything is going to be done about this, despite the massive outcry from the website's loyal (not any more - autosport.com here we come!) readers. Autosport is a content step backwards, but at least is doesn't give me blurred vision and headaches after 5mins of reading. If our posts and opinions are being read by ...

  • Re: New-look F1 website - What do you think?

Hi, I understand the need to want to change the website to include new features and layout but please don't do that at the expense of undoing the basics of good simple browsing.  I'm sure this was just an oversight but can you please make a change so that you can tell what threads you have already read as it's annoying trying to work ...

  • Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!

What on God's green earth happened here? It is cluttered, so overly RED&BLACK that you can hardly read anything and as a design it is simply awful! How on earth did anyone at ITV think that this was an improvement? New is not better, better is better.  Change by all means but this is a text book example of how not to change!

  • Re: New-look F1 website - What do you think?

harsh - has this been user tested? Accessibility tested? The red on black hurts my eyes - I would actually cisit this site less with this design asit's painful. far too cluttered too - everything's shouting too loudly for attention. Please go back and think about good web. And check with RNIB etc what they think (they have a web testing dept). The ...

  • New look & feel for ITV-F1.com

Intimidatingly over-designed and looks like a lap-dancing club! All the promos and other *** at the top forces your eyes more than halfway down the page before you can see any relevant content (a very basic design error for beginners, let alone professionals). Needs a way of indicating which stories you have already read. Needs facility to enlarge ...

  • Re: New-look F1 website - What do you think?

Layout wise its fine, but does not take advantage of the resolution available for those with wider screens. Its time ITV-F1 started looking at Web 2.0 websites and getting things like this sorted out.  That said there are some serious problems with the website. 1) Visited links are the same colour as unvisited links. This makes the site ...
