  • Eli - what a waste!

I have very much enjoyed the development of Eli's character over the past four months, culminating in his lovely scenes with Laurel and Marlon earlier this week. Joe Gilgun is a good comic actor, but also a fine dramatic one when given the chance (which he rarely has been). That tearful hug between the brothers really got to me and I had high ...

  • VICTORIA'S "Bombshell!!".

Victoria really DID drop a bombshell at the end of tonight's episode ( Friday, April 17th). She announced to Daz (her step-brother, although not related) that she WAS pregnant, no '' I think I might be'' or hesitation, she defiantly and definitely proclaimed her news. Daz walked away ashened-faced and as the camera focused on Victoria she DID look ...

  • Re: Carl/Lexi/Chas

Tbh I'm really sad that carl and chas ended the way it did.I hated the fact that carl went to chas on his wedding day, proclaiming he still loved her,and when she told him they could never be,he married Lexi, and he did it for all the wrong reasons,I can't actually believe it! I feel so sad 4 poor chas, trying to deal with her feeling's and trying to ...

  • Re: Tell us what you think!

My father loved emmerdale and we have watched it for 30 years. I know that you have to move with the times but the story lines are stupid , thank goodness we have the remainder of the Kings . Get real when are so many pensioners employed working in factories etc.  Bring back some good characters and story lined and let the old people ...

  • Re: JASMINE'S HASTY EXIT!!

Yes, you'd imagine the police would've tracked Sandy by now!! I agree with you about Jasmine's mobile, Debbie rang her from prison, so, although that girl smashed it today, they should have traced the call immediately!! We didn't see Jasmine and Sandy today but maybe things are happening ''off screen'' and we'll find out tomorrow (Tues).

  • Re: JASMINE'S HASTY EXIT!!

I must have been distracted for a few seconds, because I didn't realize that Ashley thought Sandy was still in India. Maybe, because Ashley is a good law-abiding Christian, he might just tell the Police about the possibility of Jasmine being there with her Grandad.

Yes, I know that Ashley spoke to Sandy but I think that Sandy was pretending he didn't know anything about Jasmine's predicament. So, yes, you're right Jasmine must've rang him direct.

  • Re: JASMINE'S HASTY EXIT!!

Yes, I did pick up on that. Sandy was in India and he must have phoned Ashley in Emmerdale and Ashley told him about Jasmine being in serious trouble and on the run from the law. So Sandy rang Jasmine on her mobile and told her to come and stay with him in Scotland. This is how I think things may have happened.
