  • Are MPs guilty of fraud in the eyes of the law? Fraud Act 2006

Like so many other members of the public in this country, I have become increasingly disturbed as the events of the last couple of weeks have unfolded. Coupled with the anger we are all obviously feeling, is the horrible sense that we are going to be powerless to stop these thieves, as we have been to prevent their previous misdeeds. So I decided ...

  • Tom Bradby and Gordon Brown

What an embarrassment Tom's line of questioning towards Gordon Brown last night - Brown might once have fooled everybody through his allegiance to ''prudence'' but we now know what a facade that was! Brown might have talked ''prudence'' but he was really more acquainted  to debt than prudence. So for Tom to ask Brown fawningly  how ...

  • Emma Thompson for Prime minister - Britain is not stupid!

Thank you Emma Thompson for finally saying whats on the countries minds. We the British people are not stupid.  For years now we have been recycling everything we can, using energy saving lightbulbs and insulating our lofts so we save heat to stop using energy,  and what thanks we get from the hypocrits that are our government- ANOTHER ...

  • They say the councils are poor, yet they have millions to invest!!

How come they put up council tax? Yes, okay if it was for the school books, local services, pay, grass cutting, hedgerows, litter, maintaintence, etc..... they say they cant afford! Instead of using our hard earned money for good, they put it into investments. In that case I want a reduction in my council tax or even a refund, ...

  • Re: Wasting food

The Labour party has done nothing to stop the throw away society. They have curbed cooking and such in most schools. Its all down to education. I am a pensioner and still have to work to help pay the bills. I very rarely buy anything we don't need and can cook. It is not just the price of food that is impacting on my life. I own and run a guest ...

  • Secret documents left on train

Just why were those documents ''secret''?   You'd think that a government that wanted an informed citizenry would release information about the spread of Al Qaida and the condition of Iraqi security forces, not keep the information to itself.
