RED TEXT ON BLACK BACKGROUND ??????? Red on black is the most common form of colour blindness. Extended use of this sight will result in eye strain and headaches for a high number of users.
Your (no doubt highly paid) graphics person obviously missed the most basic part of his graphic design course.

Unfortunately I don't think anything is going to be done about this, despite the massive outcry from the website's loyal (not any more - autosport.com here we come!) readers. Autosport is a content step backwards, but at least is doesn't give me blurred vision and headaches after 5mins of reading.

Thanks for all the news etc. However I have to agree with most of the guys in this 'forum'
The contrast is not great, sharp red on black is not very used friendly. It looks modern but the old site was perfect, quick to load and so easy on the eyes.

What on God's green earth happened here? It is cluttered, so overly RED&BLACK that you can hardly read anything and as a design it is simply awful! How on earth did anyone at ITV think that this was an improvement? New is not better, better is better.
Change by all means but this is a text book example of how not to change!

harsh - has this been user tested? Accessibility tested? The red on black hurts my eyes - I would actually cisit this site less with this design asit's painful. far too cluttered too - everything's shouting too loudly for attention. Layout wise its fine, but does not take advantage of the resolution available for those with wider screens.
Its time ITV-F1 started looking at Web 2.0 websites and getting things like this sorted out.
