Couldn't agree more with these posts. The amount of smoking is far more than it needs to be, to be realistic. After all this programme goes out way before the watershed time, should the programme makers not be promoting a more responsible attitude to impressionable children who may be watching? I have been watching Corrie for as long as I can ...

You've been busy with your survey too,glitterkitten . Obviously u've got your point and I've got mine.  I brought the ubject up (I think) Lets take a vote who likes smoking on Corrie and who doesn't? I hadn't wached Corrie for a while;  the smoking stuck out like a sore thumb. Don't need this on Corrie.

Do you see smoking  in other soaps? NO!  Soaps  are workplaces ; something I and thousands don't want to see.  and yes a reflection on all of us; specially us that don't smoke. Do Liz, Dierdre and Bekki smoke in ''real life''or is it part of their act?
