I have never worn real fur but also haven't really given it much thought before!
My mam has a friend who is very "animal friendly" she is a vegetarian and never wears real of faux fur! She was talking about this to my mam the other day and my mam asked why she wouldn't even wear faux fur and this is why....sorry it's a bit graphic!
Apparently not all faux fur is faux and it's hard to tell if it's real or not, apparently some is actually dog fur such as labrador! What sickens me even more is how they take the fur, apparently if the dog (or any other animal i think) is dead the fur goes hard so they keep the animal alive while they remove the fur, this is done under anestetic(sp) then the animal is killed.....i had no idea about this and find it very disturbing!

Just something to think about before you buy fur....faux or real unless you know it's definately fake!
