    Pregnant Again and terrified

    Hi everyone

First of all I want to say a massive thankyou tto everyone for all your support and kind words when we lost our beloved baby Samuel.

I am happy to say that I am now pregnant again, only 6 weeks but pregnant at least. I am trying to stay calm but after loosing 2 babies last year I find it hard at times. I wish I had a crystal ball so I could see if everything is going to be ok!!!!!! I have my booking app on 20th Aug then I willl hhave to wait for my 12 week scan, I willl alsoo be getting an extra scan at 16 weeks as well as the usual 20 week one.

Fingers crossed for us that everything goes fine and in March we will have our new bundle of joy!!

    Pregnant Again and terrified

    Thanks everyone

I will of course keep you all updated on my progress every step of the way. It seems like it has taken us ages to manufacture another baby but we weren't exactly trying too hard, things just seemed to crop up at ovulation time but the first time we made a real concious effort at the right time worked!!!!!!!!!!! The only thing about haveing a very regular menstral cycle is that we found out the good news the second my period was late so it is going to be a long wait till March!!!!!

How are things with you Nicola? xx

    Pregnant Again and terrified

Our kids are doing great, Kieran was 6 a couple of weeks ago and goes into primary 2 after the hols (2 weeks time), Anna is 4 1/2 now and starts school as well, I think it's called reception class down south but up north we call it primary 1, she is really looking forward to it and looks just adorable in her uniform. Kieran did so well in his first year at school, I thought he might struggle aas he is dyspraxic but he is in the top group for reading and math - he gets that from his Dad, he is a math whizz but I am a complete doughnut when it comes to numbers!!!!

I am still really anxious about things and my 12 week scan seems so far away (6 weeks away) so I might mention to Craig about paying for a scan sooner to put my mind at ease not sure though??????? xx

    Hi guys

Just letting you all know I am still here and as far as I am aware still pregnant!!!! I have got my 12 week scan on Fri (I will be 13+ weeks) and am really scared, I have managed to convince myself the baby has died, no reason for this, no leeding, pain etc just expecting the worse - what am I like!!!!!!!

I will let you know how I get on.

    Re: Pregnant Again and terrified

    Hi,

I hope that everything goes ok.  I know how you are feeling, I managed to convince myself the same.  I had a misscarriage with my second pregnancy and when I got pregnant again I was so scared, everyday I thought that the baby had died etc, I went on to have a healthy baby boy at 34 weeks.  I am sure that things will be ok this time.  Please let me know how it goes and I will be thinking of you on fri!   Good luck sweetie x

    Re: Pregnant Again and terrified

    Hi everyone

Sorry I haven't updated you sooner. Scan went fine, we were there for ages as baby wouldn't stop moving about, arms everwhere and opening it's mouth so wide you could see down to it's toes!!!!!!! We were lucky that we got a really detailed scan at this stage, the sonogropher really took her time with us. I have another scan on Oct 18 so keep everything crossed, lord knows what size I will be by then as i already have a small bump-ett and I'm only 14 weeks - yikes!!
