Karl used Todd for his own selfish-gains. Todd is better off with someone else -, as a gay man myself, i have known a few 'Karls' as he used his looks to seduce Todd and then when he'd had his way and Todd came out as gay Karl dumped him - That is very, very typical of the gay scene today (trust me on that one, i know for a fact)
