Quite a bit of chemistry between her and the bookie.   Please let her take up with him and let Vernon finally leave, never to be seen or heard of again.

Steve boring, never. you are not watching the same programme as me if that is the case. Steve is one of the best things to happen to Coronation Street.

    Re: Liz Macdonald

Oh dear.  Someone's obviously objected to my description of Liz.  Say what you see has always been my motto!  I'll rephrase.  I hope she & the bookie disappear never to be seen or heard of again rather than Vernon (and take her boring son with her).  Steve may well have some funny lines but as a character he is dull as ditchwater.

And quite frankly I thought the bookie had more taste than to get involved with the street's bike!

Sorry just don't see the appeal of laddish types Wizzard (particularly boring laddish types).  Actually is there any other sort?

Having said that he does get some funny lines so at least he's more tolerable than his mother.

What was I thinking.  Dan's a bit of a neanderthal and has questionable taste in women.  Like father like son I suppose (or rather like son like father).  I thought Harry had more taste than Vernon but obviously not.  For her part, anything in trousers that pays her a bit of attention is enough to make Liz drop em.

    Re: Liz Macdonald

I've just been looking her up on wikipedia.  It seems you're right Liz "hasn't been round the block that often".  Must be the tarty outfits that give the impression she's a tart. Smile    Even in the middle of winter she's out on the street with her cleavage on display.  Most people start to feel the cold by the time they reach middle age but Liz's cleavage seems impervious to the cold climate. Smile

I still think you're wrong about Steve though.  Cool isn't really a word I'd associate with Steve.  Laddish, dull but not particularly "cool".

    Re: Liz Macdonald

She spends some time with an autistic school in Altrincham (the actress that is!). I watched an episode of 60 Minute Makeover were they revamped most of the school were she was on it.  I don't watch 60 minute makeover that often and it was just by fluke that I saw it.  She seemed genuinely keen on the kids there which was quite nice.
