Mt name is Andrea, Im 26 years old and have been working in the Finanical Services Industry for almost 6 years where I am currentIy a Contact Centre Team Manager. I have very recently made the decision of changing my career in Financial Services to start working in the field of Animal Care. Its something I have always wanted to do and now I have made up my mind for certain I need all the help I can get to start working within the field.

Has anyone got any contacts within the West Midlands area, or does anyone from the West Midlands area, already working within the field, have any information or advice on how I start to pursue my dream job?

Im really keen to do some voluntary work within the area to start building up experience of working and handling animals. Im looking for experience within any of the following:

Dog Grooming establishment / Dog Training establishment / Animal Hospital / Kennels / Rehoming centres / Animal Rehab centres - basically anywhere where I can get practical hands on experience of handling animals, in particular dogs, and observing experienced professionals within the field of Animal Care.

Ultimately I would love to go into Dog Grooming, Dog Training, or the role of an RSPCA Inspector and would love to be involved with any animal welfare organisations within the Midlands to help me on my way.
