What a stupid story line, not long ago Fred Elliott who was portrayed as a very successful business man died and left everything to Ashley, how could they now be broke and have to downsize their home.  Corrie writers are really losing the plot, or they think the viewers are dumb.

Yeah, the actress who plays Clare is pregnant in real life.  Can't remember when her baby is due October rings a bell, but she'll be out for approx 6-7 months.

I had been thinking the same thing for ages, and find it odd that they just didn`t simply write it into the show, instead of making their usual clumsy and failed attempts to hide it from us.
