Nice to see some of those cars being driven how they were designed to be, rather than just sitting around.

Lets just hope Martin doesnt bin one.

Loved it, allows us to understand the developed of F1 and the era back then. My only small complait is I wish Brundle would just do a voice over when he is driving the car...the shouting over the engines noise is annoying! Or he could be mic up better, and they could reduce the engine noise in the studio?

It made me feel so old today!!  My first GP was in 1967, I was 12, and seeing the Lotus from that year - well, it looked so oldfashioned!  It's a good feature though and I'm really looking forward to the next couple of decades - for me they were the 'golden years'.

Its a great feature.  Isn't it incredible how sophisticated todays cars look in comparison given that it wasn't really that long ago relatively speaking?

Hey, this was the year of my birth. You are not old GreyKitten, although it might feel it, Lol.

Gosh that makes me even older, a couple more years than you, Grey Kitten!

I love Martin's series and really looking forward to seeing the 70's cars again (when I first went to an F1 race at Brands Hatch).  I agree, the 70's/80's were the best.

    What a great feature!

It's so good watching them slide effortlessly through corners and how much harder the driver has to work to keep the car on the track.  There's not many commentators that can and who are allowed to drive F1 cars both past and present, it's a credit to MB through his skills and knowledge that give us this further insight into the evolution of F1 cars.

        The best formula IMO:

slicks (that last a race distance)

                                         reduced DF

Manual gear shifting (no pushing buttons)

Bring the drivers skill and ability to perform to the forefront rather than their cars will make F1 great again.
