Hamashima denies forcing tyre change on Hammashina!

Hamahima Bridgestones motorsport manager claims they recommended a 2 stop strat on laps 20 and 38!

To me its neither here nor there, I perfer what Hammashina did on Saturday to be perfectly honest, bit weird they recommended Hamiton to do a good 18-20 laps on softs thoughConfused Knowing his car and driving style is not suited for such a load. They said Hamashima said it himself, only Hamilton has a problem with the Bridgestone tyres he cant look after them....so their recommendation (and I believe them) is odd.

Is it me or does what Kimi done on Sunday make senseHmm He most properly gave up on winning the race (because he certainly didnt challenge Massa) and believed Hammashina will have a tyre failure on softs or a blow out Hmmmm pretty interesting stuff!

Re: Hamashima denies forcing tyre change on Hammashina!

Kimi played the risky strategy as we all know Hamilton can easily defend and keep him behind, even on bad tyres. If he keeps doing that he (Kimi) won't be leading the championship for long.

Also Bridgestone deny forcing Hamilton to three stop but told him he had to do a 18 - 20 lap middle stint. If you do the maths, thats implying a 3 stop race as this is roughly 1/3 of the race distance.

Not too sure about your maths. A 3 stop race give you 4 stints to drive, a 2 stopper 3 stints. If you have one stint at a third of laps, that is a fair strategy, unless you fuel your first stint for a 3 stopper. So the only thing the Bridgestone statement implies is that once you are committed for a 3 stopper at the start of the race you do not have the option to change to a 2 stopper, because that would make your longest stint too long (more than 20 laps).

Keep Kimi behind on bad tyres, 2007 loses WDC because of mistakes on bad tyres, don't make me

LAUGH!!, get a grip, because Lewis can't on tyres worn down to the canvas.

And you seriously think McLaren would have changed the tires in a timely manor to win the WDC with ease with Bridgestone screaming at them to get them changed, and the FIA screaming at them to keep them on... get real... the 2007 WDC was won as a favour and the result of the financial ties between the FIA and Ferrari, and nothing else...

No Kimi won because Flying Spaghetti Monster decided that it's great to milk money with Hamilton-hype for second year in a row.

So you are saying McLaren gifted the WDC to Ferrari because of the financial ties between Ferrari and the FIA? That would make McLaren just as corrupt as you imply Ferrari and the FIA are. I shall call that theory the sore loser syndrom.

Flying Spaghetti Monster AKA FIA wanted ot milk the Ferrari 60th Anniversary and Kimi fan base (the milking machine was already attached to their udders) or even Alonso's fan base (also primed for milking), while using the delay in Hamilton's WDC as a basis for building up an even greater interest and tension, for a guaranteed milking down the road...

So many cows to be milked... what's the FIA to do?
