Hi, I like the new website layout and forgive me if this comment is not strictly about the web site but I do regularly watch F1 on ITV and overall the coverage and commentary is excellent, except for TEAM RADIO. It always interrupts in the middle of commentary and yet again during yesterdays Race during informative commentary regarding Lewis Hamilton's pending plenty. Does anyone else dislike TR interruptions or is it just Me?

I think the team radio is great, its a shame we dont hear it as much anymore.

ITV do not have control over when we hear the team radio, like the broadcast of the race, it is controlled by FOM TV, they decide who we look at on the track and when we hear team radio.

Ofcourse it will interupt the commentary as ITV do not decide when we hear the TR

I love hearing the team radio, I think all commentators should be told to shut up when the TR comes on as we often miss it due to someone talking over it.

Usually, the only time we miss out on team radio is when Ted is talking or if Louise is interviewing a driver. As for OP, the commentators continue where they left off, whats the problem?

my only compplaint it that its to quiet.

 Ban all radio comms between pits and drivers...it's a complete waste of time.."Go faster, push harder,pass the guy in front" Do these guys driving the cars really need such helpful and informative comments?

I think we should hear ALL communications, not ban them

We only hear what they want us to, would be great to hear everything, would certainly remove speculation on certain matters.

with the progress of Tv its a pity that it can not be set up like other sports

this can be done on freeview so it would not cost an extra subscription

with the press of the red button you are given a few choices on how you want to watch

one of the choices could be a team radio channel then we would have a choice to listen to the TR or not

they should broadcast ALL team radio, and the commentators should pause for all transmissions so that we can hear them...i agree that some are pointless but often they are a good insight to team strategy and state of the car

Hi, I'm new to this forum lark but definitly have a view on TEAM RADIO.

 I think it should be BANNED during the whole race and only PIT BOARDS allowed.

This would be a very inexpensive way of adding excitement and uncertainty to F1 Racing.

No discussion on tyres / fuel / who's where (i.e. speed up because someones catching you / you're within striking distance etc). The drivers are out there on their own and have to be on their toes all the time. No TEAM ORDERS!

If a driver comes in unexpectedly, then we'll see which teams 'are on there toes'. I've always been against TEAM RADIO as I feel this spoiles the sport more than anything. Maybe we'll have a few more 'mistakes' like Lewis not seeing the Red Light at the pit lane.

No other sport has this facility (as far as I know) Do swimmers have it???? Boxers etc?

I think the moto gp were gunna try with the radios but i think the riders didnt want it or something. Was something like that anyway.

 Team audio is given to the Viewers about a minute after they sent it, so the team can analyse and send stuff back to the driver...before we hear the edited version, ok?
