I made this recipe yesterday .Passata was listed in the ingredients but it wasn't in the preparation -where & when are you suppose to add it !!!!!!! The pie was very good  -next time I will use less cream.

ay only she hasn't a clue what you do with the 12 button onions..? and also where do you add the passata? or did you not bother? a quick response would be great ..

I'm confused, The basis of a shepherd's pie is the remains of yesterday's joint of lamb, minced. Therefor a vegetarian shepherd's pie is not possible. You must have it mixed up with something else.

That's a slightly shallow answer. I am a vegetarian and utilise veggie mince, whether made by Quorn, supermarket own brand etc. I am sure that this is what is used in this recipe.

 

No need to get all "cheffy" lol
