Had an idea for a new script for Liam and Maria game (if anyone's interested?!)....

Perhaps, Maria and Liam could have broke up following the affair between Carla and Liam (after they lost the baby).

They get a divorce, both going their separate ways, Liam is busy with Ladrags whilst Maria owns a successful salon in the city.

Liam and Carla had a relationship but it didn't last and Maria currently has a boyfriend who works away a lot and treats her badly. Liam is currently single and decides to visit Maria after visiting Baby Pauls grave and seeing flowers from her there. Perhaps they could grow closer again as Liam looks out for his ex-wife and realises how much he misses her.

Just an idea... if anyone fancies having a go at starting?!... I'm just not too sure where we can carry on going with the other script game

 

Three years to the day since baby Paul had been born. Liam sat at the graveside reflecting on what had happened over the past three years. Liam smiled at the dozen red roses his wife had left on the grave of their son.

'Paul, You're in my thoughts everyday. Love Mommy xxx'

Liam placed his flowers down and slowly walked away, as he got into his car, he thought about Maria. They had split up when Maria found out about his affair with Carla. At the time, he didn't put up much of a fight for Maria, instead he decided to try a relationship with Carla, thinking that perhaps all the lust between them could turn into something more, it was only when Liam and Carla tried to have a proper relationship that they both realised there was no love between them. Carla ended up marrying Tony, living in Birmingham and was geting richer and richer.

Liam had gone off women, realising that Carla had been more trouble than she was worth and that he'd lost a truly perfect wife in Maria. Instead, he put all his effort into 'Ladrags' with Tom and spent most weekends drunk in own with the lads. Liam had moved away from the street after splitting with Carla, there were too many skeletons in his closet around that place.

As Liam returned to the offices where he and Tom were based, he typed the name of Marias hair salon into a online search engine.

Tom: What you upto?

Liam: Looking for Marias salon...

Tom: Your ex Maria?

Liam nodded as he wrote down a postcode for the salon that she owned.

Tom: Its that swanky place in town... it looks like she makes a mint there.

Liam: I know yeah, I just want to go and see her, for old times sake.

Tom: You've been divorced three years... whats the point in bringing all that back up?

Liam shrugged and walked out of the office, punching the salons postcode into his Sat Nav.

Liam pulled up outside the salon, he could see Maria laughing through the window as his stomach knotted in nervous excitement, he felt the same love in his heart that he had done on the day he married her, he sat in the car for a little while, watching Maria work, she had done well for herself, Liam had too as he sat in his top of the Range Range Rover. Just then his phone rang.

Tom: Liam, where are you mate?

Liam: I've come to see Maria, just outside her salon now

Tom: Look mate, do you think its a good idea, you know.......she might be married again now or something

Liam: Its something I just have to do

Liam hung up getting out of the car he walked to the salon and stood at the reception desk as an attractive blonde came over

Blonde: Can I help

Liam: I'm here to see Maria

Blonde: Maria Connor or Maria Parker, we have two

Liam looked stunned as a smirk came across his face, he was shocked she was still using his name

Liam: Connor

Blonde: Maria, there is someone here to see you

Liam saw Maria take confident strides across the salon, long gone was the nervous young girl he had once been married to, Maria slowed as she saw Liam waiting for her

Maria: Hi

Liam: Alright

Maria: What are you doing here

Liam: I needed to see you........

Maria nodded, the shy nervous girl he knew was back hiding behind her hair

Liam: you've done alright for y'self

Maria nodded

Liam: Is there somewhere we can go

Maria: Yeah, sorry, I'll take you through to my office

Maria led Liam through her posh sucessful salon and into her office asking her junior to bring two coffees up to her office Liam sat down looking around

Maria: so, why....why have you decided to find me after 3 years

Liam: I went to our Pauls grave, seen some flowers from you

Maria starred into Liams eyes......

Liam: we had so much together and now look at us, were almost strangers

Maria: you still go to his grave?

Liam: course I do

Marias eyes filled with tears

Maria: are you still with Carla

Liam: No, that lasted all but 10 minutes

Maria: Any kids

Liam: No. You?

Maria shook her head

Liam: I miss you........I haven't felt the same about anyone else......

Maria smiled

Liam: You married

Maria: No, just living with someone, he works away alot

Liam looked down disapointed.

Liam: You happy

Maria: not really, took me along time to get over you

Liam; So your over me now then

Maria: I thought I was.......now you turn up and........

Maria looked away

Liam: and.....

Maria: and all those feeling have come flooding back.

Maria and Liam chatted for a while and ended up laughing about happier times that they had shared

Liam: Look, I better be going.......maybe we could meet up again soon

Maria: I'd like that......

Maria watched as Liam drove off

Blonde: He is gorgeous, who is he?

Maria: Just an old friend

Maria stood day dreaming before announcing she was going home for the day walking into her luxuary city appartment she seen her boyfriend Mark sat watching tv

Mark: Alright

Maria: Yeah fine

Mark: Whats wrong with your face

Maria: Oh nothing, just a hard day at the salon

Maria sat staring into space, she couldn't get Liam out of her head, she kept looking at the business card Liam had left her, wanting to dial his number just to hear his voice

Tom: So how did it go

Liam: Well, she's got a boyfriend

Tom: ah, I told you not to go

Liam: I'm not letting that stop me getting her back

Tom: You want her back?

Liam: Losing Maria was the biggest mistake of my life, seeing her today just confirmed that

Tom: ay mate, I'm not sure thats such a good idea

Liam: Well its a good job I'm a risk taker then isn't it?

Tom shook his head as Liam sat looking at Maria's business card

Liam decided he needed to speak to Maria dialling her number and listening to the dial tone nervous excitement gripped his stomach waiting for her to answer as Maria cancelled the call

Mark: who was that

Maria: Oh just a sales call....they keep bothering me so I just cut the call off

Mark nodded as Maria shuffled awkwardly

Maria: Ay, I'm just gonna pop down to my car, I think I've left my appointment diary in there

Maria ran down the stairs holding her mobile and the business card

Liam: She's just cut me off........

Tom: Look mate, leave it......sometimes visiting the past isn't a good thing

Liam sat back in his chair he looked frustrated, just then his phone started to ring

Liam: Hello

Maria: Liam.....Sorry, I couldn't talk.....Mark was ther

Liam: Mark

Maria: My boyfriend

Liam rolled his eyes

Maria: Liam, I can't stop thinking about you

Liam: Really......me neither......can I see you?

Maria: Marks away on business this friday, how about then

Liam smiled: where?

Maria: how about your place

Liam: see you then....about 7

 

aww dont leave the suspense. what happens when they meet at seven lol

Tom: mate, you've been good for nothing this week.......whats wrong with ya?

Liam was sat in his leather office chair chewing a pen in his own little world

Liam: Ay?

Tom: See, your not even listening are ya? This isn't over Maria is it

Liam sat up in his chair

Liam: Maria......No, no mate, sorry.....just had a few things on my mind

Tom: Yeah...your ex wife

Liam: Sorry mate, I just can't stop thinking about her........d'you reckon she'll show up on Friday.

Tom: I dunno mate, it all seems like a bad idea to me

Liam looked at Tom and shook his head

Liam: mate, I've been single for 3 years, yeah I've had a few flings but I'm trying to find another Maria...... I can't find anyone that I feel the same way about......

Tom: pass me the sick bucket.......

Liam: Yeah, well you don't know what it feels like to have loved and lost

Tom: Liam mate, give it a rest

Liam sat back in his chair deep in thought meanwhile Maria was in her office looking through her old photo album and was starring at a picture of her and Liams wedding day

Blonde: Can I get you a drink Maria

Maria snapped shut her album

Blonde: What you looking at

Maria: Oh nothing

Blonde: come on, lets have a look

Maria looked nervous as the confident blonde sat next to her and looked through the album stopping on the picture of Maria and Liams wedding day

Blonde: I didn't know you were married

Maria nodded

Blonde: hang on a second....... isn't that the bloke that was here the other day

Maria nodded awkwardly and explained what had happened

Blonde: so, why was he here

Maria shrugged her shoulders: I dunno, but its made me so confussed

Blonde: what do you mean

Maria: look, this is between you and me.........no one else........... things aren't great with me and Mark and seeing Liam again has made me realise I have and probably only ever will love him

Blonde: so what are you gonna do

Maria sat forward in her desk placing her head into her hands

Maria: I dunno.........I'm meeting Liam friday........I just can't stop thinking about him and its taking every bit of my strength not to phone his number just to hear his voice

It was Friday morning and Liam and Tom were in their office

Liam: This bloomin photocopier

Liam was banging and opening and shutting draws in the photocopier

Tom: Your like a bear with a sore head today

Liam looked at Tom and shook his head throwing himself into his chair

Liam: Sorry mate.......

Tom: Is this because you supposed to be meeting Maria tonight

Liam stood up and walked out of the room shouting back that he was popping to see Michelle, Liam pulled up outside the Rovers

Liam: Alright sis

Michelle: You ok

Liam: Can I have a word out the back

Michelle looked concerned

Michelle: You ok

Liam shook his head....

Liam: I dunno whats wrong with me, not sure if I've done a silly thing or the best thing

Michelle: What have you done

Liam: I've been to see Maria

Michelle: Your ex Maria

Liam nodded

Michelle: Why?

Liam: I went to our Paul's grave and there were flowers from her, I couldn't get her out of my head so I went to see her.........I'm meeting her again tonight

Michelle: Right........as friends

Liam: Yeah, she's got a boyfriend.........but I'm not sure I can just be her friend, I've got all of these old feelings and emotions

Michelle: Liam, if she's got a boyfriend she's moved on....aren't you setting yourself up for a fall

Liam: I dunno sis, its just something I've got to do.

Michelle: Well, you do what feels right

Liam nodded: I still love her.......I always have

 

Liam walked out of the Rovers looking down at the old house he and Maria once shared as husband and wife Michelle walked out behind him.

Michelle: You've got it bad haven't you

Liam: How could I have been so stupid.........its taken me this long to realise, I should have put up a fight when she found out about me and Carla, seeing her the other day..........I haven't stopped thinking about her since.

Liam walked away as Michelle looked at him sympathetically and watched him drive away. Liam phone bleeped that a text message had come through it was Maria and it simply read "looking forward to seeing you tonight. Maria x" Liam smiled before texting back "I can't wait to see you. Liam xxx"

Liam walked into the office looking happier

Tom: You seem better

Liam: I am....its all go for tonight

Tom: So she is definately coming then

Liam: She is, look, I'm gonna get off, tidy my appartment......show her I'm a new man

Tom rolled his eyes

Tom: See ya tomorrow then

Liam: If ya lucky

Meanwhile Maria was working at the salon

Blonde: You look happy today, is this because your meeting up with your ex

Maria looked round anxiously

Maria: Ay quiet...if Mark finds out he'll kill me

Blonde: So what you gonna do about you and Mark

Maria: Nothing yet.......just be quiet now

Blonde: So where is Mark

Maria: he's away tonight.....I'm meeting him at his place.....actually, I might get off, get myself ready

Blonde: Your the boss

Maria smiled grabbing her coat

Maria: thanks and look, don't mention this to anyone.....

Maria got home and was mooching through her wardrobe

Mark: What you doing

Maria jumped

Maria: I thought you were away tonight

Mark: Yeah I'm going in a bit......so you off out

Maria: Yeah, just with a few of the girls from work

Maria looked nervously at Mark, Mark was completely different to Liam, he lost his temper easily and could be quite aggressive.

Mark: Right I'm going.....see you when I'm back

Maria watched as Mark walked away.

Later that evening Maria was ready she had opted for a casual look, she didn't want to look like she had tried too hard.

Maria paced his apartment nervously just then his door bell rang he looked at his intercom he could see Maria stood nervously at his front door as he buzzed her in

Liam: Alright

Maria: Hiya ( nervously looking around at Liams luxuary appartment) your place is nice

Liam: Tar, our Shell helped us do it up.

Maria: how is she?

Liam: She's alright.....still with Steve..........Do you want a drink

Maria: yeah, whatever your having

Liam walked back into the lounge with 2 big glasses of wine

Maria: You trying to get me drunk

Liam nervously apologised: Look sorry, I don't want it to look like that...

Maria: I'm kidding

Liam smiled

Liam and Maria spent the next couple of hours making small talk

Liam: I miss you.......its only taken me 3 years to realise

Maria looked nervously at Liam

Liam: You look more beautiful now than ever.........I know you've got a boyfriend but I couldn't not have you in my life....we shared too much together.

Maria nodded: I've missed you too

Liam was sat close to Maria the chemistry was clear Liam starred deep into Maria's eyes as he lent in to kiss her, a long passionate kiss

Liam: It feels like we've never been apart

As Maria lent in to kiss him again

Liam: Please don't go home

Maria: I'm not going anywhere

 

 

Maria spent that night at Liams, they didn't go any further than kissing they just slept in each others arms, Liam barely slept he just listened to Maria breathing taking in her scent and looking as her eyes fluttered in her sleep, he couldn't believe she was here again in his bed, he didn't want the morning to come, he just wanted to stay in that moment forever

Liam: You ok

Maria: Just feel a bit guilty, thats all, you know........I have a boyfriend and here I am with my ex husband

Liam looked down disapointed

Maria: It felt so right last night......like old times, I felt safe....I haven't felt like that for years

Liam smiled: Do you want to meet up again

Maria nodded: I'd like that

Liam: Do you want me to drop you home

Maria: No, I think it will do me good to walk.........clear my head, y'know....

Liam nodded

Liam: You in work today

Maria: Yeah, not until 11 though

Liam: when can I see you again

Maria: I'm not sure Liam, let me have a think..........Mark's can be funny about me going out

Liam: I will see you again though?

Maria nodded: Try keeping me away.

Liam smiled before pulling Maria into him and kissing her again, he held her hand and walked her down to the main front door

Maria: I'll be in touch

Liam: I'll be waiting

Liam stood and watched as Maria walked down the road he hated to see her go and wanted her to stay. Before pulling out his mobile and texting "missing you already. L xxx" Maria smiled as the text came through her tummy knotting with excitement.

Blonde: I take it that everything went well last night judging by the smile on your face

Maria nodded before ushering her assistant into her office desperate to tell someone how she felt

Maria: It was amazing......just like old times, he was caring, gentle, loving......I miss him

Blonde (we'll call her Natalie): So what are you going to do about Mark

Maria: Oh I dunno, you know what he's like...I think I'll just see what happens

Natalie: so are you seeing him again

Maria nodded shyly

Natalie: When

Maria shrugged, we didn't set a date, I need to sort something when Marks away

Natalie: This could get messy Maria

Maria looked nervous

Maria: I know but I just can't help myself...........Everything feels right when I'm with Liam

A few days past and Liam was getting more frustrated that he hadn't heard off Maria

Tom: You still not heard off her mate

Liam: Nothing.........maybe I'm kidding myself. Maybe you were right, y'know leave the past in the past

Tom could see Liam was down

Tom: Look mate, you can't mope around waiting for her....

Liam: I know

Just then Liams phoned bleeped, Liam grabbed his phone

Liam: Its Maria

the text simpy read " Can you meet me this lunchtime 12pm your place? Maria xx"

Liam jumped out of his chair: She wants to meet me, lunch time today

Tom: What about that meeting with the supplier

Liam: I'll cancel it

Liam left as Tom sat at his desk muttering and shaking his head

Liam couldn't stop feeling smug back at his appartment as he waited for Maria to arrive. He buzzed her in and waited at the top of the stairs for her to appear

Liam: Hello gorgeous

Maria smiled as she remembered him calling her that when they were together

Liam kissed Maria a long passionate kiss as he led her into the house

Liam: I thought I'd been blown out

Maria: Sorry, its just difficult with Mark

Liam didn't listen, kissing her again........this time it went further than kissing as he led her into the bedroom

Liam: You ok

Liam looked worried as Maria lay quietly next to him

Liam: You were ok with that weren't you

Maria nodded

Liam: Whats wrong?

Maria: I'm just so confussed..........is this just a fling for old times sake, or are we going somewhere

Liam: What do you want

Maria shrugged her shoulders: I dunno, I've been with Mark for 2 years, we've got the flat........how can I just walk away

Liam looked disappointed: I don't want you to do anything that you don't want to do

Maria turned looking Liam into his eyes

Maria: I want you.............

Liam smiled

Liam: But

Maria: But what I want and what I can actually have are 2 different things

Liam: I'm here if you want me

Maria smiled: You don't know what Marks like, he's really possesive of me.........I don't think he will let me walk without a fight

Liam: Well..........there's not pressure Maria

Maria smiled wishing she could erase the past 3 years the fling with Carla and that they were still happily married

Maria: Do you ever think what could have been.......if we hadn't split up?

Liam: I have been recenlty, probably still on the street....couple of kids

Maria smiled: Would that have made you happy

Liam nodded: I should have put up a fight, instead I rolled over and let you walk away

Maria: You went with Carla

Liam: Yeah, big mistake, I mean...........what was I thinking, letting you go for her.....

Maria looked away

Liam: Sorry, she's probably the last person you want to talk about

Maria shook her head: Everything happens for a reason

Maria sat up and climbed out of the bed Liam couldn't take his eyes off her body as she dressed, she was still as perfect as he remembered.

Maria: Look, I had better be off, I've got an appointment at the salon in an hour

Liam nodded: Can we set a date to meet

Maria: I tell you what, I've got a conference in Birmingham next week........its 2 days, why don't you come with me

Liam smiled: Ok.......

Maria: I'll let you know details later

Liam lay in bed as Maria lent across the bed to kiss him goodbye.

Maria: See you soon

 

Later that afternoon, Liam and Maria were both back at work, Maria was in her office looking over stock counts whilst Liam was staring blankly at his computer screen realising he needed to get this Mark fella off the scene as soon as possible. Liam smirked as an e-mail popped into his inbox under the name 'Maria Connor'.

Hiya!

I'm driving down to Birmingham on Friday at 3pm... you can come with me?! I've become a better driver now, honest! and I've just booked a double room at the hotel for Friday and Saturday night. Let me know If it's ok to pick you up at 2:30pm from your place?

Maria xxx

Liam smiled and immediately replied saying that plan sounded fine and he couldn't wait.

Maria quickly closed her computer screen as Mark walked into her office.

Mark: Alright! What you upto?

Maria: Just placing orders... you know.. same old.

Mark smiled and went to kiss Maria who swiftly kissed him and tried to get back to work.

Mark: I come in to see you and this is teh thanks I get! Whats up?

Maria: Oh, nothing... sorry, I'm just really busy!

Mark tried to kiss Maria again and she angrily pushed him away.

Maria: I said I'm busy!!!

Mark angrily stormed out of the office and out of the salon. Maria leaned back in her chair and took a deep breath as she saw Liams e-mail pop up in her inbox.

Hey you

Sounds good to me! I'm up for letting you drive, we'll see how much you've improved!

See you at 2:30 on Friday, I miss you.

Liam xxx

Liam sat up he could still smell Maria's purfume filling the air in his bedroom

Later that afternoon Liam was in his office spinning around on his chair

Tom: You met Maria then........had a good time I take it

Liam: The best.......

Liam sat back in his chair looking smug

Tom: So the one small problem is that she has a boyfriend

Liam: You really know how to put the dampeners on something don't you

Tom smiled: Sorry mate but I'm just being realistic, its all very well meeting up every so often and having your wicked way with her but the reality is she shares her bed with another bloke every night.

Liam looked deep in thought he remembered when it was him that she would come home to every night

Liam: I really am a loser Tom, letting her go when I had her..........

Tom nodded

Liam: Er, a little bit of support wouldn't go a miss

Tom: Mate, when you and Maria spilt up, I told you to fight for her

Liam: Yeah, well I had no fight left in me.......

Tom: Well you better be prepared for a fight now, especially if her bloke finds out about you two.

Later that afternoon Liam was working on the computer when his phone rang, it was a number he didn't recognise

Maria: Liam its me,

Liam: Hey gorgeous, I was just thinking about you 

Maria giggled

Maria: Oh were you now, I wonder why! Listen, use this number if you ever need me, its my office number, just text my mobile. Mark will get suspicous.

Liam: Whatever you want babe

Maria: and I've got all of the information for my trip to Birmingham

Maria gave Liam the information that she would be leaving for Birmingham in 2 days time and they agreed that they would meet at the hotel.

Liam put the phone down smiling to himself

Tom: Maria by any chance

Liam: Maybe, listen mate...I'm going away in a couple of days, not for long, just I won't be around I'll have my mobile and laptop with me though

Tom: I'll ask no questions you'll tell no lies...........right?

Liam smiled before continuing with his work

Tom: Oh yeah.....don't worry, I'll ask no questions

 

ignore my last bit I'll carry on where you left off.

Maria smiled looking at her screen before replying that she missed him too. she felt nervously excited.

Natalie: Whats wrong with Mark, he just stormed through the shop..... he doesn't know does he

Maria: No, he's in a mood because I didn't shower him with affection, you know what he's like.

Natalie: What you looking so happy about

Maria: Nothing..........(Maria's face burst into a huge grin)

Natalie: I won't ask but I'm guessing Liam has something to do with it.

Maria: Maybe.........listen, you've remembered I'm out Friday for that conference in Birmingham haven't you

Natalie: Yeah no probs

Natalie walked out of the office giving Maria a knowing look and Maria shyly smiled back knowing she had been caught out.

Later that night Maria was trying to contend with one of Marks moods.

Maria: You have remembered I'm away until Sunday at this hairdressing conference haven't you

Mark: Yeah, you mentioned something (he grunted back)

Maria: What is wrong with you?

Mark stood up and left the room as Maria's phone beeped

"I can't get you out of my head - your driving me crazy, are you free? L xx"

Maria smiled texting back "Not a good time, looking forward to Friday"

Liam was disapointed as he threw his phone down and lay on the sofa to watch a DVD wishing Maria was there to watch it with him.

Mark: Do y'know, I am sick of you spending more time messing with peoples hair than me........

Maria: Well I'm very sorry but me spending time with you isn't gonna pay the mortgage is it

Maria and Mark spent the next hour arguing as Mark pushed Maria onto the sofa, Maria looked at Mark with disgust

Maria: You dare lay a finger on me

As she stood up crying grabing her coat and leaving the apartment

Mark: where are you going........come back here

Maria carried on crying running down the stairs

Maria: Give me some space Mark........I'm going to Natalies

Sitting in her car Maria dialled Natalie, Natalie had become a good friend someone Maria had trusted with her secret and told her what had happend Natalie assured Maria she would cover for her if Mark phoned Maria started the engine to her brand new VW Beetle Cabriolet and drove off.

Liam was drifting off to sleep and the intercom buzzed he could see Maria stood at the front door as he buzzed her in immediately.

Liam: Whats wrong

Maria threw herself into Liams arms as she cried

Liam: Ay come on, whats wrong

Maria: Me and Mark have had a huge row

Liam: and your upset?

Liam was slightly disapointed that she was so upset over a row with Mark

Maria: I want to finish with him..............I don't want to be with him but you don't know what he's like

Liam held Maria tightly and they ended up in the bedroom again

afterwards Liam held Maria in his arms he could feel her warm soft skin next to his

Liam: Do you need to go

Maria shook her head: I don't want to, can I stay here

Liam nodded: if thats what you want......won't he be worried

Maria: He thinks I'm staying at a friends

Liam and Maria both slipped into a deep sleep

Tom: Actually...

Tom ran his fingers through his hair.

Tom: I could do with a hair cut, might pop into Marias, see how she's looking these days!

Liam span around in his chair.

Liam: Don't bother... she's spoken for.

Tom: (smirking) That hasn't stopped you has it?

Liam smiled and had an idea, he called the salon number and booked himself in under a false name and asked for his hair to be cut by the owner and director, Maria Connor. At 5pm, Liam came into the salon and saw Maria talking to a client. He sat down and Maria smiled at him as she saw him out of the corner of her eye. After a few minutes she came over to him.

Liam: I couldn't wait til Friday...

Maria: I'm sorry Liam, I've got a client in at 5pm...

Liam: Mr Smith?

Maria nodded as a smirk came to her face.

Liam: What? I need a haircut!

Maria laughed and got Liam a drink as staff and clients began to leave the salon. Maria began to cut Liams hair as he happily told her about Michelle and Steve and how they were getting on these days.

Maria: I haven't been near the street since we divorced...

Liam: Really?

Maria: Couldn't face it...

Liam: You're not missing much.

Liam saw Marias face dropped as a man walked into the salon, he came over to her and kissed her on the lips. Liam shuffled uncomfortably in his seat.

Mark: You alright babe?

Maria nodded and Mark nodded to Liam who scowled back, he didn't know the man but he immediately hated him. Sleazy and far too cocky for his own good.

Maria: What you doing here?

Mark: Is a man not allowed to pop in and see his girlfriend?

Maria: Course.

Mark: I was wondering whether you wanted me to come with you the weekend?

Maria quickly looked up as Liam coughed in his seat.

Maria: No!

Mark: What?

Maria: I mean... there's no need, I...  I', taking a couple of the girls from this place... hoping to train em up a bit more....

Maria bit her lip.

Mark: Oh right, fair enough... looks like I've got the weekend to myself then. Look, I'm gonna get off, I'll see you at the flat later.

Mark kissed Maria goodbye and left, Liam felt jealousy build up inside of him. After he was gone, Maria finished cutting Liams hair in silence. Before taking him upstairs to her office.

Maria: Liam, I'm sorry about that...

Liam shrugged. Maria could tell he was upset.

Liam: I don't want to share you with another man Maria...

Maria: He's not all bad Liam... how can I tell him?

Liam: He is all bad! He's a right slimeball! What are you even doing with him?

Maria sighed.

Maria: Because my husband slept with his sister-in-law, Mark seemed sligtly better than that.

Liam bowed his head.

Liam: Sorry.

Maria: No, look... I can tell you've changed.

Liam: I have!

Maria: And these past couple of weeks with you have been amazing... I'll tell Mark, I will... I'll end it.

Liam smiled and kissed Maria.
