I just felt I wanted to write a post after watching Trinny and Susannah last night about the girl that they made over, Sahara (I hope I spelt that right!).
The show said that she had a colostomy bag after having an awful bowel disease, and she had been finding it hard to know what to wear since as she felt so self conscious... I dont know if she will read this but there was no other way to get in touch with her so hopefully she will. I really just wanted to tell her that she looked absolutely gorgeous and she shouldnt be self conscious at all, she's had to cope with something very difficult and has proven herself to be a strong person and i hope that she's proud of that. I'm 22 and was diagnosed with Crohns when I was 19. I didnt lose my bowel but I came very close to having to get it removed. I was crying along with her watching her talk about it last night as it hit so close to home! I just wanted her to know that it does get better, I'm in remission now and life is going really well, I was very ill for 2 years and it does take time but she'll get there, and in the mean time she looks fabulous!
